Anniversary dinner! Everything we were looking forward to! Beautiful restaurant, incredibly delicious food and drink. What made it really enjoyable was our waiter Shawn. He was very attentive, conversational and genuinely friendly. He recommended Otis Cafe for breakfast since we're staying in L.C. and a good place to go agate hunting. It was a memorable evening. I'd recommend the beef tenderloin and scallops

Beautiful views, delicious food, and fantastic service. Pricey, but perfect for a special occasion. Some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had! The crab cakes and smoked pork chops were amazing, too.
Tip: Online had no availability, but I called and the restaurant was still taking reservations. We were also able to park in the hotel lot for free.

It took 2 hours to receive 2 entrees. The food was just “okay” and not worth the $50-$55 per plate. The vegan polenta was so bland. It had zero flavor, although the polenta looked pretty on the salad bed. My partner and I made jokes about how anything would have helped. Hell, a splash of balsamic vinegar would have gone a long way. I asked for more of the cashew cheese hoping I would get some flavor. The scallop and lemon risotto were just okay. Overall, I would not eat here again. After asking for the check, I waited another 30 minutes to receive it so we could pay. It’s a shame. At first, we really liked our server. 2 hours for 2 subpar entrees when there were only three other tables in the house is absurd to me.
The menu for food options was 1/3 the size of the drink menu. Slim pickin’s for picky eaters. This food was bland, food truck quality during a festival, and the portions were small. No, I take it back! I would have loved a food truck opportunity while waiting for this food to come out of the kitchen. We could have eaten something with flavor and not sit hungry all evening!

The restaurant was completely booked, but was unable to order to have it delivered to our room. My wife ordered a medium well steak and received it charred well done. The manila clams was a little to salty but flavorful, and required to eat with the buttery bread it came with to neutralize the saltiness.

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary here. We got married last year nearby. They treated us so well. We loved the basil lemon spritzer. For small plates we got the ribs (LOVE) and crab cakes (great sauce). For main plates we got the pork chop (WOW) and the salmon (needed more spice or ginger, but tasty). We had such a great night hanging out here.

This place was lovely! Great drinks, crab cakes were divine, and a fresh special of albacore poke from the Oregon coast made our night. Highly recommend for a date night!
The Meridian, located in the Headlands Lodge and Spa, is absolutely lovely for dinner. The food is beyond delicious. You can't go wrong w/anything on the menu. Clam chowder was one of our favorites. We sat at the bar because dining in the main dining room was booked. To be honest we didn't miss out on anything. We still had amazing views and service. Very impressive wine selection. Nicholas, the Bartender even made olives stuffed w/blue cheese for me for my Dirty Martini and I was most impressed. He went above and beyond. A lovely and quite tasty cheese and fruit plate was placed in our room w/a bottle of wine (It came from Meridian, it was one of the add-ons Headlands offers that we went for). We ordered room service, for lunch one day and breakfast the other (from Meridian), breakfast was ok, but lunch was rather lackluster. My beet salad had pickled everything in it. But at the restaurant for dinner, it was sublime. It seemed like lunch came thrown together. However at dinner, there's an open kitchen, and the chef makes sure everything is perfect. Have dinner there but try to avoid room service, the food will taste like it came from two different restaurants. Bring extra money to tip the bartender, Nicholas was an absolute joy! Attentive, friendly, professional and willing to go above and beyond. He even made sure I had steamed milk w/honey and two delicious cookies to take back to the room.
Lovely space and views, warm and attentive service, delicious local dishes.
The local albacore tuna was terrific. Somewhat limited menu but all was very good including breakfast. Staff and chef very accommodating to our modifications. The Haystack is a way too delicious drink.
This was a dinner destined to be. We never would have had our anniversary dinner here if someone hadn’t have cancelled. We are SO glad they did! Melissa was an excellent hostess and our waitress Sam was outstanding! Crab Cake and Oysters on the Half Shell were succulent and well portioned, the special Pappardelle with Manila Clams in Garlic Wine Broth were luscious and tender. The Lamb Chops with Grilled Polenta, Roasted Heirloom Tomato and Summer Vegetable Salsa Verde was delightful (if slightly overcooked). Starting with a Champagne toast and finishing with a Pana Cotta with honeyed peaches and fresh red currants, we could not have had a better meal. Thank you all for helping to make our 14th/25th anniversary extra special! 🤗 Bravo!

I can't wait to return. We had such an excellent dinner - the atmosphere, the wine list, the local beer on tap, the halibut, the best service - everything came together for a beautiful dining experience.
