My husband and I ate there tonight and the food was fantastic. He had the seafood lasagna and said it was delicious. I made by own pasta with fettuccine noodles, cilantro jalapeño pesto, sun dried tomatoes and grilled chicken. It was fantastic. Our server was amazing. Wry knowledgeable and attentive. We both had drinks from the bar and they were very good as well. Great date night experience! Decent looking place. Decor, etc. the calamari is way more dough than meat. Sauce is watery, salad looks decent but has a slight used/moldy odor. Kids meal is not very kids friendly. And eggplant is ok. Bread is decent but with sugar and cheese in it. All calories can be filled by that focaccia bread. Very mid. Try the pizzas. Cooked to perfection. Lentil soup was hot and good. The $25 roasted chicken had great flavor but dry and over cooked, the potatoes were dried out too. Not sure what their practices are in handling the meat after they cook it. It may have been left over from the lunch rush. We were there around 3:30 The service was friendly and prompt. Amazing experience that we had tonight. We came to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary here. We travel to Houston from Chicago. The service and food were amazing. The managers and staff members pay attention to detail and make sure everything is perfect to your liking. Made my husband and I feel welcomed. Will be visiting this place in the future. This place was randomly selected from google maps. I told my boyfriend I wanted Italian and he brought me and my niece here. We came on a very cold night, so there was plenty of seating. Appears they have a private section that is by the front with open windows that you can have a private birthday or family/work dinner. The Focaccia bread was fresh and seasoned well along with the balsamic herb dip. We had a bottle of Pinot Noir called “Complicated” cute name and very good. I’m new to the Pinot Noir life but it was delish. Sweet, not dry and definitely fruity, loved it. I had the Chicken Parmigiana this was stuffed and the sauce was tomato basil pesto cream. Amazing and highly recommended we sampled each dish mine was the best. My new did a create your own Penne Pesto with tomato and mushroom. This was good had a little spice kick to it. The boyfriend had the Salmon on creamy lemon zest Risotto with shrimp and asparagus. Dessert we had Gingerbread pudding with ice cream and whipped cream and a nice port to go with it. Don’t remember the port name but it was very good. Finished with Espresso and I highly recommend the Espresso Martini. Yes chew the beans. Overall a great night and I will definitely be back. I recently visited Mia Bella Trattoria and had a mixed experience that I wanted to share in this Google review. The restroom is on the smaller side, and I noticed that the floor was a bit sticky, which was a bit inconvenient. Our waiter, who seemed relatively new, was friendly with a smiley face and appeared passionate about his work. However, there is room for improvement in customer conversation. It would be great if he avoided discussing sensitive topics like customer culture and language. Additionally, enhancing his skills in giving food recommendations could enhance the overall dining experience. Despite these points, the positive attitude of the waiter earned the restaurant a 4-star rating in my book. However, my main disappointment was with the overpriced food. While the first bread was complimentary and delicious, the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations. The pesto pasta I ordered was too salty and overly buttery and cheesy, which was quite disappointing. In summary, while there are aspects of Mia Bella Trattoria that could be improved, the friendly service and positive attitude of the staff make it deserving of a 4-star rating. However, addressing issues like restroom cleanliness and refining the food quality would contribute to a more satisfying dining experience. What a truly fun, fabulous and amazing night of Sistarhood was had and cultivated at Mia Bella in Vintage Park! They NEVER disappoint but this night was truly special! We started our reservation in the Wine Room- confirmed the final count days before and were disappointed to be told a new maximum of 12 guests for the wine room. No need to fear, manager Gabriella was there! She moved us to the Private Room, did not charge us more, apologized for miscommunication on their end, had the additional table requested for gifts and 2 servers that were attentive and apart of our fun! There are definitely some cooks/chefs in our group- there were no harsh critiques on the food. 😊 Thank you all so much! We'll be back- it's also one of me and my daughter's favorites and a place I worked a decade ago! Seafood lasagna, and pasta with cilantro jalapeño pesto & creme brule pictured. Food was not amazing, drinks were not delicious. Parking is kind of a mess. The atmosphere is nice. I truly had higher expectations for this restaurant . The service was truly great. We were a very large group on a Monday night. Our waiter was patient and helpful with the menu. I loved the interior on the restaurant. Clean and delicate! Restrooms were also very clean. As we sat at our table, we had complimentary bread, freshly out the oven with a side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For starters, I had their house ceasar salad. Probably the only thing I really enjoyed. Very generous serving and what was amazing is that they served anchovies with it. Gotta watch out it is salty but nothing you can’t handle. This is where things just didn’t go as expected. The rack of lamb was served on bed of mushroom polenta. I had it cooked on medium well. Cooked nicely, but it was not seasoned well as for as the polenta. If not mistaken it had some seaweed crumbled on there also, didn’t like it. The sauce reminded me a lot of a gravy which might be it was like a wine reduced sauce for the lamb. It helped the dish not be so dry. It lacked flavors overall. Roasted chicken also, it was cooked nicely with a bed of vegetables. Just not up there. . The service was there, food didn’t take too long after putting the order in. Especially for a big group as that night. I think I would give it another try, see other food options of their menu.
