Located in a nice shaded nook along Josiah Tongogara Street between 13th and 14th Avenue, Middy's Coffee Shop is well-sheltered for the rush and bustle of the CBD. There is the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a favourable place to have breakfast and lunch with children as there is a child-friendly menu. It is also conducive for small to medium business meetings as it is a nice, quiet environment. This is a good place for individuals who are working and dining solo as no one will disturb you. With regards to food, I've had the chicken mayo and ham and cheese toasties and they taste very good. The cheese and tomato omelette is good too and can be paired with any one of your favourite coffees. Just be wary of the baked goods especially the muffins. I was unfortunate to get one that was stale. Service can also be slow especially during peak times. With regards to the prices, they are quite high given the end product you receive unless you want a chilled environment to work and socialise and use the Internet.

As someone who travels and visits a lot of cafes in Europe and Africa... this one is on point! The food is delicious and price is really reasonable (especially if you're coming from a bigger city). The staff are friendly and attentive (especially Patti). I visited a few other cafes in Bulawayo which were nice but this has the best vibe... nice big trees overhead provide a lot of shade and there is a fan inside blowing air if it's hot outside.

A serene oasis in a busy city, Middy's services beautiful food and drinks. Their Jacaranda Smoothies provide a taste sensation. The staff are happy and friendly and they provide great service. The coffee is superb. I go to Middy's every day when I am in Bulawayo. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good service and the food is on point. Really loved the beef ciabatta, an option to consider when hungry. Chilled environment. That frozen mocha 😍😍😍😍
