Mighty oaks BBQ is a hidden gem! I was having a bad day, and their food and service flipped that around for me. I think that speaks volumes. And while you wait, you can enjoy a free soft serve chocolate ice cream. That sure brings out your inner child. They also have an amazing select of delicious ice teas. I purchased the smoked meatloaf plate, yum! Knocks your socks off! A loaded chopped beef potato! Holly moly. The potato itself was smoked, and moist. It was not over cooked in the slightest. Plate came with two sides. I chose bbq baked beans and potato salad. I added coleslaw and he gave me a free personal Mac n cheese to try! Oh also purchased a chopped beef sandwich and a sausage link. Wow! Not a single bite went to waste. Great work y’all! Thank you for feeding my soul! It’s always refreshing to go somewhere and enjoy conversation with the people that work at any given place. In today’s times, we are always on the go. Heads down into our phone. People rarely even say bye on the phone. We will be back. Wish I had gotten photos of the rest of the food. I took it to go. It was a tortorous drive home might I say with the goods in the back seat. It took all I had not to pull over and get a bite! I could go on and on.

Guys, if you’re considering coming here, don’t consider it just go. It is 100% worth your time and you won’t regret it at all. Sure it’s BBQ it gets a little pricy, but so is Blacks, Rudy’s or any other BBQ place and honestly for the food you get it’s not horrible. The workers were extremely nice and quick with the food, they gave us recommendations as well as info about specials on different days. They’ve got meatloaf on Thursdays and pork belly on Fridays, among other things. The regular and mango habanero sauces were incredible and I highly recommend it even if you don’t like spice since it mellows out with some sweetness from the mango. And y’all when I tell you that banana pudding was heavenly I mean it. I don’t even like bananas or banana pudding but it tasted incredible. EVEN THE DRINKS ARE GOOD. Guys, go to mighty oaks BBQ, it was genuinely delicious and the people were so amazing. Thank you for the food and keep on making (in my opinion) the best BBQ in New Braunfels and maybe even Texas!

Baby Back Ribs
I just tried their BBQ Brisket sandwich and can say it was the BEST I have had EVER!
It was so moist and tender with very little fatty portions. The BBQ sauce is delicious. I have had the ribs and they are great - tonight’s dinner. Very friendly helpful service. Do yourself a favor and give Mighty Oak BBQ a try.

Baby Back Ribs
We grabbed the Mighty Bite (feeds 4-6) for take out. $40 for 1lb of brisket, 4 sausage links, and 3 pints of sides. We felt it was a great value. The brisket and sausage are now my favorite in town. Specifically, I think the beef sausage was fantastic. I don’t normally like the sausage served in town but this place cooks it right! My wife is a 7th generation from here and I’ve been living here 16 years now so we’re not transplants with no sense of good BBQ, haha. The beans were great, and the potato salad was good. I felt the Mac n cheese was ok. It wasn’t bad but it didn’t seem very original or a standout. Overall, I would definitely come here again and this is going to be our new go to when we want BBQ.

Super moist meats but the potatoes are where it's at! 🥔 🔥 The brisket and pulled pork were both super soft and well-cooked bbq. The meats lacked a bit of flavor but you could tell they knew how to cook them. Nothing a little bbq sauce couldn't help.
We got Mac n cheese, potato salad, and a baked potato as sides. Boy oh boy that potato might be the best I've had in San Antonio. It was creamy soft and stirred together beautifully with the cheese and sour cream. I'll definitely be back for another one of these bad boys.
The food truck is connected to a bar with limited outdoor seating. Service could be a bit slow, but that's because they're doing everything. The guys there were super nice and friendly. If you've got some patience and don't mind the bar environment, this is a cool little place to try out.

Baby back ribs and Brisket Extremely good flavor moist, directly off the grill. Fresh hot never overcooked, never undercooked perfect every time, that smoky richness Permanates the meat and you taste every bit of it, without it being overwhelming, perfectly balanced. Banana cream pie wonderful. Looking farward to coming Back!

Our food was awesome. This is a tiny place with only some outdoor tables but the owners were very welcoming & our ribs sausage & brisket with sides was great. We werent crazy about the bbq sauce but the meats ,sides,& dessert was great. If fancy is your thing this place isin't for you. Just good bbq for hungry people. We will be back.

Pick up order of family meal ready on time, packaged nicely and tasted delicious! Brisket has awesome flavor and turkey is extremely moist. Already a super fan and this will now be in our regular rotation!
