Nice friendly and family atmosphere. The food is good, especially the grilled chicken from outside. It can be a bit loud with the music and kids, but that adds life to the place. Hidden gem! The best place I've eaten at throughout my trip in Borneo. Local, cheap, delicious, VERY generous with the portion sizes, live music, and best of all, the staff. I got such good help from this one girl who spoke English who was able to guide me through the menu and ended up choosing my meals every time I came back so I would get the best and diverse local dishes and drinks experience at their restaurant. Never got disappointed. In fact, I never found a Milo C, Teh C Special or eggfried prawns this good ever again on the whole island. I recommended this place to friends at my hostel and all of us ended up coming back several times (me six). I even ate less during the day so I could order several dishes at once at night when MJ opens. Haha, maybe just that speaks for itself...
