We all know there’s competition for Hawaiian food in the area, but so far, Mo Bettahs has been FAR better.
The pork does really melt in your mouth, but not before that deep rich flavor hits every taste bud. The chicken had a great char flavor, was really well seasoned and still juicy. And steak! Teriyaki sauce is really nice.
This is all a credit to the staff and crew of Mo Bettahs. It was obvious that everyone cared about the experience and the food and it really shows. If they keep this level of commitment, this place will do well!

Hawaiian food! I absolutely enjoyed my food very much. You can order the mini which is small or a large which is regular plate your side of meat choices white rice and macaroni salad. I chose the regular plate with two meats teriyaki chicken and teriyaki stake my husband chose katsu chicken and teriyaki chicken. Let me start with my plate my choices yes same but different meat but they were amazing! The meat was sooooo light and thin with that easy eating. My chicken was not too charcoal and cooked to be soft and done perfectly. My husband enjoyed his katsu as well as my three year old she said chicken nuggets yep just that crispy. They do not have spicy of any kind. Everything was in order utensils beverages etc.

Teriyaki Chicken Combo
My first visit to a MO Bettahs. The lady who served me explained the sizes, the sides and the meats. I like the simplicity of the menu. The food was fresh. I tried teriyaki steak, katsu chicken and shrimp tempura. Sides were rice, macaroni salad and served with chopped cabbage. The chicken was dark meat, aka thighs, which surprised me in a good way. I will go again and try the teriyaki chicken and pork. The large was enough for 3 meals for me. So even though it costs a little over $20, the average per meal is reasonable for lunch.

I’m just leaving here having just had lunch over a lunch break during a work day that has been brutal.
I came in feeling downtrodden. I almost skipped lunch, but stopped in on a whim and my life is now forever changed.
From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere made me feel better about the day. The gentleman working was absolutely delightful—hitting me with recommendations and cheer on my first experience here. I said I like Hawaiian Bros so I wanted to try this while I was over here and he looked at me like, “just wait.”
I will tell you that Mo Bettahs is indeed “Bettah.”
The biggest gripe about their main competitor from me is that the meat is a little sketch.
Mo Bettahs is like family barbecue feed your mother-in-law-to-impress-her type of meat. It’s legit amazing! The flavors and spices are much better and the Mac isn’t swimming in mayonnaise.
Overall, I left feeling infinitely better than when I came in—to the extent I was inspired to write this review when I should be getting back to work.
The ambience and the feng shui is a whole vibe. The food is amazing and the people… the people make it truly better.

We came in today to eat dinner after my husband had his lab test. This is my first time and I was me I can find food like food(Filipino food)back home in the Philippines. When we got in there are few customers ahead of us but we didn't wait that much. I am so thankful to my husband for bringing me here today because the food is truly like Filipino food - so tasty and flavorful which seemingly brought me back home. I LOVE IT. My daughter said when I asked her what can she say about the chicken, she said "it was yummy and I like to eat it". I was surprised she ate thexrice without me telling her to(which I usually needed to).
We ordered Regular Teriyaki Steak with Mac Salad, Regular Plate Best Seller with Teriyaki Chicken, Pulehu Chicken, white rice, and Mac Salad, Keiki Plate for Kids with fried katsu chicken, white rice, and Mac Salad, and Large Fountain Drink Passion Orange Guava( P.O.G) Juice. The servings are a lot and it's good because we have something to take out.
Overall, I am confident enough to highly recommend this place especially foe Asian people.

Authentic and closest to what we experienced in Hawaii. This place is definitely better than the local competitor. The teriyaki chicken and kailua pig were fantastic. High quality food, cute interior, and great customer service. Our whole family enjoyed our meal. Please open up a location in NWA (northwest arkansas).
