Stopped here for some food before our bus, ordered fried chicken and rice as a safe option. Food arrived and looked great, had a few bites and blood started coming out. I sent it back and asked for it takeaway as I had a bus to catch. They bring the remade dish out. Much smaller piece of chicken, not battered like before and a bit burnt looking. I think fine as long as it’s cooked. I get on the bus and start to eat it. The lighting was bad but I could taste it was burnt and not nice. I turn on the light and see it’s bloody again!
I was given the dish at half price and was apologised to many times but it really doesn’t make up for the potential food poisoning I’m going to get….

Ordered pork stew and beef loc lak. Pork arrived earlier and portion looked good with plenty of meet on plate. Unfortunately, meat itself was awfully chewy and hard. Then it turned out that most of meat is pork skin, which I wasn't able to chew on, but the part which was meat, was like a shoe sole..
On the other hand souce itself was amazing. I'd rather have steamed rice with souce only, if I could.
I joked that my wife made a better choice with a beef..
However, that was not a case, as her beef was the worst that we had since our 3 weeks in Vietnam. Hard and difficult to chew.
We didn't complain, we never do, as I worked in restaurants and know what chefs do to complaining customers meals. Additionally, we were hungry and chose this place over some budget "pho places" around. We ate as much as we could, paid and left a comment here.
Looking at other feedbacks, maybe we were unlucky, as others spoke highly about this place. On pic is what's left of pork. I was only happy for dogs and cats inside, as they would really enjoy so many leftovers 😀

The chef came out himself to recommend the local HaGiang cuisine. Food was authentic and worth it for the price. A must-go if ever in HaGiang!

Really pleasant place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Lady speaks English and is very helpful, food is excellent quality and huge portions! Toilet clean and the restaurant as inside or outside seating with a map of the loop on the wall so you can start planning your trip. We went here twice on our trip and will return in the future. Thank you for the yummy food!

This place is awesome. The 5 spice pork ribs are easily one of the best things we have eaten in all of Vietnam.
If you’re in the area this place is a MUST visit.
This place is located a bit out of town but was right next to a lot of hostels. The food was delicious and the portions are huge, we ordered two medium meals but could have just shared one. Great little place and the staff and owner were so friendly

Very sweet restaurant. Good food with nice service and fun crowd. Don't be in a hurry when ordering. Although they happily provided me with boxes to take the rest of my food with me and naturally added some more rice for free. Recommended

Loved this place! The food is very flavorful, the people are lovely, and prices are much more reasonable than some other surrounding restaurants. The Bò Lúc Lắc was delicious, we got it twice!
Order the pork belly, it’s amazing with the sauce. Make sure to also order some sautéed local greens, we really like the pumpkin leaves. We also ordered the bo luc lac but the meat was pretty tough. Some stray dogs do come around to beg for food but they’re very polite and gentle.
