MOD Pizza is the Chipotle of pizza places! You pick all your own toppings and they'll cook it up for you. Best pizza I've had in years, since it had all the toppings that I love! The gorgonzola cheese was the kicker! As for atmosphere, the music is great, and the people who work here seem to really enjoy themselves. It's kid friendly, as a pizza joint should be. First time in here and absolutely loved the crunch off their thin crust pizza. You go in order from their listed pizza or create one yourself. They do it all in front of you. Friendly service staff...they where quite busy with walk ins and online orders but seemed to handle it with a smile. Some tables needed cleaning but overall seating area was clean and the food was yummy! My child was so excited to pick her toppings and have her own whole pizza. She wants to go again. (9/9) it was about 2p and not crowded or crazy busy, pizza was yummy and staff was kind! We went again and was yummy! We went in shortly after they opened and greeted us with such a great attitude. Took our orders and food came out quickly. Food was really good. As usual. But I think what made this experience the best yet was Nick. From the moment we walked in and helped us. He just had the greatest attitude. Even helped me get signed up for points to earn free food. After we got our food he continued to make sure we were taken care of. Customer service is HUGE for me. And felt like Nick needed to be recognized for his great customer service!! I live right by the Kroger across the street from this place so I’ve ordered here a lot over the years. Not sure what happened, but the service has really gone downhill. My last several orders have never been ready at the expected time given when I order online. The past two times I ordered I waited around an HOUR after my pickup time before I got my pizzas. After it had happened the first time, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but honestly they’re so disorganized when they get busy that I don’t think it was a fluke. Pizzas pile up, they lose track of orders, orders with multiple pizzas have the food come out of the oven 10-20 minutes apart from each other… it’s no wonder they can’t keep up. There doesn’t seem to be any good direction or management. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that they at least comped me a few free cakes for the enormous wait. But really, I’d rather have been able to get my food in a reasonable time. Even though this place is so close to home, I’ll be ordering from the Mod Pizza across town from now on. I just discovered MOD Pizza about a year ago. I like it because I can build my own pizza each time and it always costs the same. The last time I was there I lost my billfold out of my purse. I called the next morning and they did not have it. I called later that evening and they did have it. It was all intact, debit card, credit card and a lot of cash. This is testament to the courteous and honest staff. They will always get my business. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Update: big improvements since they opened. They no longer look at me like I’m crazy when I ask for spinach on my pizza. And they are better about bussing tables. Glad to see they’ve gotten better. Meh. MOD's version of the build your own pizza just didn't work for me as well as others (Blaze being my favorite). The pizza itself is fine, but the topping selection leaves much to be desired. They don't have fresh mozerella, shredded only. They do have a few other cheese options (ricotta, Parmesan) but fresh mozzarella is a must imo. I asked for spinach on my pizza, and the guy looked at me like I was crazy. They also only have one red sauce. There's no spicy version (like at Blaze) and the sauce wasn't particularly flavorful imo. They offer a white sauce that I didn't try. My kids love it because they can build there own simple pizza. But I was underwhelmed. On top of the lack of topping selections, the place was just a mess. It wasn't even that busy, but they were out of sweet tea the entire time of our visit (which I informed them about) and we went to four tables before finding a clean one. They really need a busser full time to keep tables cleared and clean. I realize patrons are asked to clear their own table, but having a busser to insure this happens and tables stay clean would really be great. It's definitely a good place to visit for families. The pizza was not bad, and I like that they have different crust options (like cauliflower and gf). But a few weeks into being opened, and this location is still obviously struggling with efficiency. That combined with the lack of toppings equated to my 3 star, meh, rating.

The food was well prepared and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly on this non busy Sunday lunch. The only con would be that the men's restroom stunk of stale urine from a urinal that probably hasn't been cleaned properly in a while. Still, my family really enjoyed our lunch there. This was my favorite location and it has really gone downhill over the past year. This is the fourth incident I’ve had and the first time I’ve complained about it. I ordered three pizzas and I put a note stating that we are vegan and our last order was wrong. There was sausage on my pizza. I understand mistakes happen, but when there’s four pieces hidden behind veggies and cheese, it’s pretty obvious it was done on purpose. I called and spoke to the customer service line, and the guy stated no one here would do that on purpose, ma’am, mistakes happen. I am a general manager for a restaurant and I fully understand mistakes happen. I also understand that sometimes we have employees that find little things like this funny. It is our job as a leader to correct this and make sure that it doesn’t happen. What if someone had a severe allergy? In my case I find eating meat unethical and flat out disgusting. It’s my right and my choice not to eat it. I do not handle well with someone doing something like this. I will not order from this location again. You’ve lost a loyal customer over a joke.
