We had a nice dinner, the food was really good and was served quickly. We had several people wait on us but still had to ask for the item we ordered, it seemed like the servers were trying to help each but stuff just got missed. The restaurant itself has been family owned since 1983 and it looks like it could be time for some fresh decor. It wasn’t bad just on the tired side. They're not anything like they were a year ago when we went. We were so looking forward to eating there and boy were we disappointed. Won't be going back unfortunately. They have changed there breading recipe and now instead of fillets you get fillets pieces. With no real taste. Hush puppies were very good but very oily. Coleslaw was fantastic. Baked potatoes hot. Onion rings no flavor but burnt grease and burnt flour taste that you could even taste the onion. Tea was very good love the little individual pitcher cups they serve it in...cute idea. But I we didn't go for the tea we went for the catfish... very disappointed 😥 For got to mention... Don't ask for the oysters on the half shell tho on the menu... They don't serve them.
