Everything was phenomenal but the deviled eggs definitely stood out. Husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits, though he dove in before any photographic evidence could be had. Ambience, service, food — all top notch and it was a great experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try brunch Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp & Grits

My friend brought me to this restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago. I initially had a positive impression because our server was friendly, the restaurant had a great vibe, and the food we ordered was quite good. However, as I was almost finished with 4/5 of my burger, I discovered a short brown hair stuck in the patty. I promptly called our server, and she fetched the manager. After a short wait, the manager arrived, and we showed him the hair in the food. He said he would speak to the person in the kitchen (possibly the chef). Unfortunately, due to his low volume and the background noise, it was challenging to hear the details, but my friend who sat closer to him assured me later that he didn't apologize for what happened. After the manager left, we waited for over 10 minutes, but neither he nor the chef returned. Surprisingly, we received the full-priced check from our server, and the manager did not reappear. Despite sensing that they might not address the issue or apologize, we just paid the requested amount and even left a generous tip for our server. It wasn't her fault, and her service was commendable. While I understand that people can make mistakes, I am not sure about giving them a second chance(visit), especially considering their attitude during this incident. Additionally, the owner's blunt responses to other 1 or 2-star Google reviews make me hesitant. Charleston offers numerous local, fine restaurants that are worth trying, anyway. Delicious food, great service, beautiful surroundings! We went for brunch with a reservation. We were seated right away and the server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and a vast selection for all tastes! The restaurant itself is beautiful with an upscale and comfortable ambiance. (but casual dress is ok!) We ate indoors, but there is an open patio and a shaded patio with lots of seating. Very dog friendly as well! Stunning riverfront location, and overall a perfect relaxing brunch Sunday. We’ll definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp & Grits

My dad and I decided to come here for lunch on a Saturday, and despite being walk-ins, we were able to get an outdoor table immediately. We were in the sun which provided nice warmth, but if we were cold there were heaters and blankets available. The food and service were great. I got the momo burger (pictured) and my dad got the blue cheese burger. It was generous portions for a reasonable price. Since we sat outside, we had a great view of riverfront park as well. I’d recommend eating here and walking around the old naval base to anyone! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Momo Burger

A work friend recommended this spot for dinner with our great business friends in from KY and it surely did not disappoint. The location on the Cooper River waterfront park is great although at night a bit tricky to find due to all the historic Oak tree canopy that lines these historic old Navy base housing areas. I'm always looking for a spot with great food and a craft cocktail menu. We arrived about 30 min early for our reservation to make sure we had time to have a drink at their small but cozy bar. The bartender was super fun and accommodating to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I can be a bit of a pain (cocktail snob) on ingredients and how they are served. But Rickey was an expert and with a great sense of humor clearly showed he was a master. He'd prepared his own set of bitters and let us try a few before making some amazing drinks for us to try. We all love oysters and had a dozen each of their 3 varieties for the night and they all were amazing. Several of us had the Steak Frites, shrimp & Grits and a burger and everyone loved them. The staff was very gracious and accommodating for our group. The service was absolutely outstanding which is a rarity these days. If you dine here be sure to take some time to walk down to the river's edge on the nice walkway right behind the restaurant to enjoy the views before/after dinner. I can't wait to go back to Moma. After a busy Sunday morning at the shipyard, looking for a bite to eat, happened upon the MOMO Riverfront Park. Great service and fantastic food medium-rare (only option) beef and egg. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great food and service. Delicious appetizers - great hush puppies, pimento cheese and house made pickles, Brussels, and deviled eggs. Huge salads with perfect toppings and the steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The service was on point. We will be back. We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday in the summer and were able to sit at the bar. They had a completely full house! That said, service and wait time for food was slow but every one on their staff was doing the absolute best they could and their kitchen staff as well. It’s a small place so it get full and loud pretty easily but didn’t mind one bit. The food was outstanding. Starting with the Brussels and deviled eggs. These were the best deviled eggs I’m told of any restaurant for taste and price for quantity. The Brussels were really good as well, but wish there had been even more of them! We split the chicken sandwich and shrimp and grits and ended up taking most of the shrimp and grits home because it was huuuge! The chicken sandwich was great, loved with the homemade hot sauce they have there. French fries are addictive and delicious. The shrimp and grits have pulled pork also so they’re super rich but sooo so good. Some of the best cheesy grits ever. Would absolutely return again! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This restaurant is in a beautiful location with a front row view of the water - on the old Navy base. My girlfriends and I came here on a Sunday for a Girlfriends brunch. We were greeted with a smile at the door by the hostess. We made reservations, and our table was ready when we got there. It was extremely hot outside. They have umbrellas and they do a good job of keeping the sun off of you. They even provide small fans and put them on the table if you like. Even with the fans. It got too hot to be outside . They did not hesitate to put us at the first table that could accommodate all of us on the inside. We were very grateful! This place is great for a date night. I would suggest reservations if you want to sit downstairs with a view of the water. As it always looks to be for when I pass by. Because we plan to come back with more people we inquired about group space so we visited upstairs before leaving. There is a great space for groups up there. I forgot to ask how many people but I felt that 50 or more could fit in that space. The restaurant is definitely kid friendly and dog friendly. Plenty of seating on the outside. Our waitress Renee was attentive and helpful. I applaud her patience. There were eight of us and we were ordering lots of food and drinks. She took her time to explain items on the menu. She gave great suggestions and even came back regularly to see if we were OK. She smiled the entire time. I know I had to be stressful. As things came out the kitchen if there was a wait, she made sure we knew how long everything would take and that it was OK to ask for more. Everything we had tasted good and fresh. We ordered two seafood towers, and almost every appetizer on the menu to share with each other. By the time we got done eating appetizers, we were good and full and The restaurants overall was clean. The tables were wiped down soon as people got up. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Double Seafood Tower
