Best place to get authentic Caribbean food here. Service was friendly and efficient. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in sharing their dishes. Atmosphere is clean and simple. They are not shy with the portions! Left full and satisfied. Great tasting food in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I both had the jerk chicken lunch dinner with cabbage and rice and peas with oxtail gravy on top for $13. It was a lot of food for a great price. From New Orleans working in Hattiesburg. I'm a foodie. I had to prepare myself and say a prayer before I went in the restaurant after reading all the reviews about bad customer service/attitudes but I wanted some Jamaican food and a Ting so I took a chance. The lady that took my order was pleasant so I was relieved. Jerk chicken and cabbage was good, plantains also. Rice and peas didn't have much flavor. I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice barely got it if any. Oxtails were a bit pricy but I understand because everything is expensive now. Our first experience was a good experience. Food was fresh, delicious, and ample servings. The restaurant was very clean. Options for indoor or outdoor dining. Food was delicious. Great flavor and decent portions. The issue that I do have with this establishment is the attitude of the young lady that was on the cash register. Not professional at all. She was totally rude and didn't display good customer service skills at all. When I arrived, there was only 1 car in the parking lot. Maybe if the person taking customer's money for this overpriced, the cabbage was a bit too spicy, yet delicious oxtails, would be more of a people person, the lot may fill up and increase profits. Price doesn't matter if you have the right person representing your business. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hattiesburg hidden gem. This place has the absolute best jerk chicken in the area. I love it. My kids love it and I would eat here everyday. The cabbage is amazing and the pea rice is so good and flavorful with the gravy. Be patient as food this good takes a minute to prepare but it’s definitely worth the wait. Go here you will not be disappointed in the food and flavor of the Caribbean. If it’s not too hot outside take a seat on the patio and enjoy the music and the sounds of the city.

Food had no taste. Oxtails more fat than meat. No cornbread. Mac& cheese and cabbage bland tasted like nothing. This was my first time but last time because I called and the lady was so rude on the phone I alm6hung up. I'd rather go to new Orleans where I know to get great oxtails.
