I ordered a 6” cake on a short notice (less than a week before pickup). The cake was chocolate with strawberry buttercream (3 layers). The cake was delicious - great texture/flavor and very moist. The icing was also very tasty! I also didn’t give any direction on how to decorate it. The cake was very simple (which I prefer) but cute - it was perfect. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the cake and really appreciate their willingness to take the order on a relatively short notice.

Lovely bakery/cafe. Coffee/tea, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, lunch sandwiches & pastries. We were visiting Bar Harbor for vacation and stopped here a couple of times. I enjoyed the citrus green tea and got it every visit! The apple pie slices were also yummy. Cute spot!
Wanted to try this place so bad because the menu looked so interesting but every time we tried to go, they were closed. Plan accordingly since their hours are minimal. The woman taking our order seemed very over her job, she was kind of short with us and blunt. However what lacked in personality, they made up for in taste! I got the mother stuffin turkey sandwich is and was so good! Thin sliced Turkey and wonderful cranberry relish. All so good. The little bags of chips that come with it are a joke though. Come on guys, for a $16.00 sandwich, you should be including a full size bag of chips, not a Halloween goody bag. It literally had 9 chips in it! Also they were out of pie, but we got a mixed berry bar, it was very good too. My kids were able to get string cheese, yogurt pouch, and apple as their lunch, because that’s all they eat anyways, lol. I would come back again for that sandwich if we lived close by, but if they didn’t up the bag of chips game, I would buy a bag separate. Also, the place is super cute and kitschy inside.
Really fantastic little place with a whole case of breakfast pastries, including I think 4 kinds of coffee cake. I got the cinnamon but I wish I had got the blueberry, mine was too huge and kinda dry. We also got a blueberry hand pie and that was delicious. Coffee drinks, hot breakfast sandwiches, non-breakfast pastries, gifts/cards/book/prints are also on sale. The bathrooms are a hoot. Definitely worth a stop and a bit off the main strip.
I did quite enjoy the atmosphere here, it is very eclectic and cozy. But the reason for which it is rated like this was because the food was only really okay. There were minor issues we had with each thing we ordered: the blueberry danishes could have used more fruit in them, the Californian Dreamin' sandwich I think could have done without the goat cheese (maybe cream cheese or a lesser flavored white cheese), the Moreau was very good except they could have gone much lighter on the sweet pepper jelly, since by halfway through it was sickeningly sweet. Overall, we halved everything and shared so it did work out. We all liked our orders, it's just that we would have liked them better had we known to request changes like the ones mentioned above. I must say though, their coffee cake was a big hit.
This place is amazing! I went every morning I was on MDI and even took some for my drive home. The pastries are delicious- try the pumpkin donut and the coffee cake! The veggie bagel sandwich was also GREAT (hello goat cheese!!?). Pro tip- add egg to that sammie! The workers are super kind, positive, and helpful; and the owner seems really sweet. Plus it's just the cutest shop!! Definitely get off the main drag and check it out
Such a cute cafe with good food and nice people. We tried the lunch options and sandwiches were really good. The tuna sandwich was phenomenal, it was not your everyday tuna sandwich. The grilled sandwiches were wrapped in aluminum foil in a paper bag, so you can even take it to a hike or any nice outdoor place to enjoy a warm lunch. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Also, they have good wifi if you need to do get some work done. Different coffee options are available. Wish they have more fresh juice options. When we were there only grapefruit juice was available and it was not that good.
