I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mozambik Westwood, all I can say is Wow! From the manager(Reshma) to the staff I was treated with utmost respect👌
The food was divine and the atmosphere was exceptional!
I was pleased to meet my favorite radio DJ The Music Doc from Online FM spinning on the decks 🎶📻
From the moment you walk in you're met with nothing but hospitality which adds to the charm of the place.
I will definitely be back for the live entertainment and food

Great setup, great service from Khanyo. She was brilliant, the manager also came over and had a conversation instead of merely checking in on us. They went out of their way to celebrate a special occasion for us which was unplanned. The food was amazing and we hope to eat there many times again. Keep up the quality of the food and the great service as you have a winning formula.

Good atmosphere. Good food. Good drinks. Service can be more efficient. Wait for food is a bit long. They do, however, provide you with a portion of nuts while you wait. With regards to menu options, there isn't much variety, especially with seafood options and combos.

I had the pleasure of dining at Mozambique at Westwood Mall, and I must say, it's a fantastic addition to the mall's dining scene. This new restaurant boasts an incredible ambiance that exudes a fun and party-like atmosphere. The setting, complete with a DJ booth and even a designated dance area, makes it perfect for those looking to enjoy a lively dining experience. The fact that they offer live music on weekends adds an extra layer of entertainment.
One of the highlights of our visit was the cocktails, which were nothing short of amazing. They were expertly crafted and truly delicious, setting the tone for a great evening.
We also had the opportunity to try two of their starters. The Beef Trinchada, featuring grilled beef in a creamy sauce, was a standout. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and not overdone, and the sauce complemented it beautifully. Equally impressive was the Calamari starter, which was both tasty and expertly cooked, avoiding the common pitfall of overcooked calamari. Both starters were served with rolls, adding to the overall satisfaction of the meal.
The staff at Mozambique were incredibly accommodating and friendly, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. It was a nice touch to see the owners walking around, greeting customers and adding a personal touch to the service.
In conclusion, Mozambique at Westwood Mall is a definite must-try, especially if you're looking for a weekend chill spot with great ambiance, live music, and delicious cocktails. The tasty starters and attentive staff make it an all-around enjoyable dining destination that I would highly recommend.

New Mozambik restaurant at Westwood and my 1st time experience with their food.
Really enjoyed the seafood platter and the great service...
However I was not impressed with their side salad, was not freshly made, the lettuce and beetroot at the bottom of the bowl were already showing signs of darkening...

The service by the trainee was great until the permanent lady started bullying her in front of us. Appalling behavior, she even demanded the tip. When I interfered while she was bullying the new gal she gave me attitude and even threw back the change on my table.

Everything from service to food was 10/10. Just 1 thing i was curious about.
They add a 10% service charge to your bill and still ask for a tip on the receipt which is abit unfair. Are you expected to pay the 10% plus another 10% for tip?

I ordered the Quarter chicken and prawns and when they brought out my meal the prawns were ice cold and undercooked. The chicken was dry and seemed to be old. The service was good but the food was a total put off. I won't be going back to this Mozambik Restaurant.

I went to try out the restaurant on a random weekday with the hubby. We were both pleasantly surprised. He had the kingklip and I have the chicken and prawn combo and it was delicious! Our waitress was sweet and overall ambience of the restaurant was great! Recommend for all including kids!
