During a recent 10 day stay at Marival Distinct we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at this restaurant more than once. It is an outdoor space, partially covered with a good view of the ocean. The food was always really good. The service was sometimes good and sometimes.. not so good, but for the most part nothing we couldn't live with. I would say for the dinner choices this is best spot at this resort. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is my review of Mozzamare, a restaurant within the Marival Distinct resort, where we recently stayed for several days. I was thoroughly impressed with the place. The service was outstanding, characterized by exceptional politeness and professionalism. I would like to give special mention to a few staff members. Victor, who served us at the beach, was prompt and knowledgeable. He even introduced us to a delicious new cocktail milkshake. Israel Lomelin, who attended to us during dinner, was notably polite and precise, ensuring our meals were served on time. Many others at the resort also merit high praise. However, our experience with the food was mixed. Initially, we enjoyed the rack of lamb, which was exceptionally well-prepared. But on subsequent evenings, it was served undercooked, for which I find no justifiable reason. That said, other dishes were delightful, such as the corn chowder soup, mozzarella-cloud salad, and the velvet cake. And let's not forget the view – the sunsets are gorgeous, with each evening presenting a different spectacle. The ambiance is further enhanced by the vibes of live music, making the experience unforgettable. Overall, it was a great experience with just a few areas for improvement. We were in Puerto Vallarta for 10 days and went out for dinner every night. The dinner at Mozzamare was by far the best. Everything in the manu was delicious, including the tomate with cheese salad, linguini with seafood and fajitas. The churros come with different sauces, and they were also great. Our host recommended Mozzamare to us. It was the perfect place for us to spend an afternoon with our preteen grandchildren who loved swimming in the ocean and playing on the soft sand. This beach club has quickly become my factorite place to bring visitors to PV. The service is great and location ideal. It is crazy expensive. But worth it if your goal is to provide a high-end experience for your friends or family. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Have been here twice. First time was an eye opener WOW!!! Beach side location, casual but lively atmosphere. Food and service was great. Second time it was very disappointing. Service sucked - Big time. Waited over an hour to be seated, no one checked on us or asked if we wanted more drinks. The food was nowhere near as good as first time maybe because it was later or they ran out of stuff? I will say, the location and views from the restaurant were out of this world. Stunning and spectacular. So even if you don't dine, go for the viewing experience at night

As a chef i am normally a harsh judge but this place is exceptioally bad. The food was incredibly bland and expensive, the service was poor they had no plates for the fajita and no spoon for the salsa and sour cream. The linguni ĥad 3 clams and 3 mussles. the tequila shrimp had cold rice and a single slice of carrot. I had the ribeye cicharones which was the scum from the deepfryer on some tasteless sauce. Pretty unacceptable i will not return Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

My husband and I have been at Marival Distinct 4 times (we bought here on this beautiful vacation property). Mozzamare restaurant is just outstanding. Last night they did a Mexican Fiesta it was a spectacular experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We couldn’t order dessert cause we were casualties of the “we’re between shifts”. Hard to think that someone can’t slice a cake or scoop some ice cream. Food wasn’t great. Service was ok’ish. Much better options out there
