We left the House of Mouse for sit down service and chicken noodle soup. The Restaurant is on Open Table, but no reservations. We got immediately seated at a table in the bar. Our server was attentive and we enjoyed her company. (Remember Knott’s is cashless) but the server s accept cash tips. Hubby had a bowel of chicken noodle soup. We shared a plate of biscuit. I had the all white meat chicken dinner with a cup of chicken noodle soup. Salad, cabbage and a slice of apple pie for dessert. The soup seemed salty to me but my hubby said it got better the more he ate it. I also had a boysenberry mojito. We had a good time and will come back again. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here on a Saturday right as they ordered and we Had to get the third famous fried chicken. The Golden, crispy fried chicken paired with creamy mashed potatoes creates a delightful combination of textures and flavors that's hard to resist. The crispy exterior of the chicken complements the smoothness of the mashed potatoes, making each bite a satisfying experience. Perfect comfort food! The chicken less chicken sandwich was a A plant-based twist on the classic chicken sandwich, the imitation chicken version impresses with its savory patty, packed with flavor and texture. Paired with Crinkle fries and their rhubarb. The only critique. The potatoes could due with a little pepper. Okay this is the first time I've been here in about 11 years! :-) glad to know that the service and the food were still very good! The wait is a bit long but that's to be expected here in Southern California! The fried chicken is always awesome! And so are the apple pie and the boysenberry pie! We'll come back at sometime in the future! :-) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Fried Chicken
If you do nothing else on your visit to LA, you must try the fried chicken and boysenberry pie at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant in Knott's Berry Farm. Fabulous pies, great food and famous fried chicken, this is a must stop on your list of places to visit and eat. The chicken dumpling dinner with rolls was fabulous--not overly doughed, well seasoned and a good portion. The onion rings were large, crispy and onions were fresh. Fried chicken was moist and the breading was perfectly crisped. Had the signature cocktails, boysenberry lemon drop and jalapeno rhubarb raspberry margarita. Definitely recommend both--super tasty lemon drop and the margarita is just spicy enough to be flavorful was surprisingly refreshing. If you like margaritas, you'll love this one. Finally, the dessert--if you've never had boysenberry pie, you gotta try it. Goes great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I wanted to love it. Finally had an opportunity to try it here. Everyone seems to rave about the chicken, however hubby and kiddo were not impressed. It's pricey but you get a lot of food. We came in with 7 people, wait was 15 mins on Sunday night. Loved the look and vibe inside. Anywho after ordering, biscuits came out...listen, they taste good going in mouth (warm, great texture, soft) but nasty once being swallowed. They left a weird after taste...maybe like a baking soda/powder flavor. 2 out of 3 kiddos thought they were nasty as well as my sister and I. Adult meals came with salad and soup, meal and corn, and slice of pie at end. Everyone took half their meal home. Corn tasted like frozen bag corn. No wows with the food. $7 for a regular drink. Bill was $103 before tip for 2 adult meals, 3 kids meals, and 1 drink. Would I go again...nope. Just wasn't impressed. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Loved it! We had a splendid dinner at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner restaurant. The theming of the restaurant is on point and cozy. Their chicken is truly made well and to my surprise (as I am totally usually team dark meat because most white meat I encounter is too dry and tasteless), they served the most tender and juicy white meat that was just as juicy and tasty as dark meat! In fact, in a blindfolded test, I would have assumed their white meat was dark meat! Amazing! We tried the Mrs. Knott’s Classic Fried Chicken dinner and the Chicken and Waffle. Both portions were wonderfully gigantic and we took leftovers home for another meal. If you go for dinner, the meal includes a salad, soup, side, and a slice of pie for dessert which is a great deal! The meal also comes with their complimentary biscuits with boysenberry jam which tastes like scones with jam. They came warm from the oven and were very tasty and fresh. The fried chicken was wonderfully juicy and light in flavour. The white meat was seriously so soft and moist and not stringy or dry at all! The soup I chose was a cold cherry rhubarb which was sweet, tart, and delicious that I used as a substitute for cranberry sauce. The rhubarb in it had a nice pickle like crunch and kinda tasted like cranberries in a good way. The cabbage seasoned with ham was nice because it was not too salty and tasted like healthy, boiled vegetables. The corn was just average kernel corn and the salads were standard salads. The chicken noodle soup was creamy and rich with great flavour. Loved the boysenberry theming. Tried the boysenberry lemonade and it was fruity and refreshing. The boysenberry beer was also light and refreshing. The boysenberry pie at the end was awesome. We were too full so we got it to go and ate it as a snack but it tasted like a cross between blueberry and raspberry pie. Overall, a great experience with great food. The food is not gourmet, but hearty, satisfying, and very well themed. Would highly recommend this experience at least once in a lifetime. Delicious fried chicken, chicken soup and pie. Never had a bad meal here. Menu is full of deliciousness Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was decent tasting, portioned, and priced accordingly with theme park expectations. Service, however, was very subpar, as she never checked on us (only coming by to drop off the bill essentially). Had to chase down the server for drink refills and even a box for nearly a full plate of leftovers. Kitchen staff delivered the food and were polite and courteous. The table immediately next to us was constantly checked on, provided constant refills, and automatically offered boxes by the same server. In between, she was chatting with the bartender and two other servers and was annoyed when we got up to ask for a to-go box. This was after the peak lunch hour when it was only moderately busy. Knott's Berry Farm (the theme park itself is another story in and of itself) and especially Mrs. Knott's Famous Fried Chicken restaurant, used to have impeccable service, but sadly, it seems those days are long gone. I don't get it. I've been wanting to try this chicken for years, and today, I finally did. I was excited because some of these reviews on here saying it's the best chicken?? Really? It had NO FLAVOR, zip, nada, zilch, no seasoning, the mashed potatoes with gravy was good, the biscuits were mushy inside like they were not cooked all the way, the knotts jelly was not sweet at all and seemed thinner for some watery reason. Soup was ok, The cake dessert WAS good, and we enjoyed the boysenberry tea was good also. The ladies' bathroom stunk sooo bad, really, really bad, ya'll need to put some air fresheners in there cause dayum!
