It was a pleasant experience. The waiters are generally very busy here. They are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is vibrant. Not ideal if you're looking for a quiet place. There is indoor and outdoor but inside the mall seating. There are Toilets nearby. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly. The mall itself is safe and easy to get to. The menu is varied and caters for then entire family and different dietary requirements. A great spot to meet with friends fir coffee or a good place for fresh meals and baked goods as well during a shopping day out. Great place to have coffee and a lovely sandwich. Excellent service. Fresh food and quickly prepared. Tasty sandwich. The Chicken and mayo was awesome 👌 My cappuccino was super creamy and delicious. What an atrocious attitude from lebohang. Rudeness and don't care attitude. Absolutely disgusting. She has no social skills , etiquette or sense of customer service. To be spoken to like that by an absolute stranger! Thank you to the manger for attending to the compliant. Will not be visiting this branch with a sorry excuse for a human being like this working here. You don't treat patrons this way, there is no revenue or salary without customers. Its a simple principle. I did not choose your establishment to mishandled by your staff. "Listen lady" is not a way to address a customer after having to wait 20 mins for a muffin and scone that's ready made, then receive a wrong bill. Learn some manners. Really. Mugg & Bean is advertised as a family business, this isn't the atmosphere that was created today. When you hire staff, they represent the face of the company, choose wisely ! Friendly staff. Much more spacious and quiet compared to the Westville Mall branch if you’re seated outside. Decent WiFi too. I’ve found more lately that the standards have deteriorated, especially during the peak hours where the food is cold or the waiters are overloaded. Decided to stop for a coffee before our last minute Christmas shop and oh well..lets have breakfast.. Opted for the Big Ben Eggs Benedict however not wanting the muffin asked for whole wheat bread..Boom Alex our waitron got it done..was on top of his game and could not have asked for better service. We go there very often for coffee and sometimes breakfast. Asked for a 5roses tea bag and boiling water on Thursday and was charged R39, more than the flat white coffee I usually have.
