A nice little restaurant with basic homemade local food. Portions large, we had a meal for 2 and had to do a take away box. Friendly staff. Good value for what you get. Great place, fantastic food, true quality in a pure form. Had bacalhau.. Amazing.. Crunchy crust but true flavour of fish big flakes. Great. And the steak.. Novilho... Massive portion I thought hmm m let's see.. But so tender! Small place. Great service. Can recommend. And have the special red verde wine. Pleasant venue outside with good weather, food was really good and tasty, we had Arroz de Sarrabulho, two doses were perfect for 4 hungry people, the service was super nice. Crazy busy in the small alleys of town, not to be missed! A Muralha (inside the wall protecting the town) is a gem at a very traditional restaurant. The small bass and goat were amazing

If you like to eat like portugese are eating thats the place to be! Their prices are mostly per 2 persons but you get so much that will not complain.both fish and meay are fantastic.fresh and delicious. For meal for 4 persons +bottle of very good wine +coffee+small glass of "bagaço caseiro" I paid just 54 euro! Because it was so much food my children coudnt eat it al so at the end I could take it in the box with me.I found it very ecologically responsable and friendly. May be worth nothing that their toilets are also very clean and proper. Thank you for such caring and all the best!
