We were fitted in last minute and cocktails were ok. Ordered 2 beef fillets and one ok and one was gristle so sent back. After 10 mins and husband finishing I was asked if I wanted the fillet or something else. I said the fillet. Then another waitress said my food would be 7/10 minutes. I said why so long as was now 15 mins since my food went back. She just apologised. Then my food arrived and was over cooked for a medium steak. Was dry tough and at this point I just wanted to leave. Got the bill which had my cocktail the water and my meal removed. We love this place. Quiet and romantic atmosphere. Great food. The only reason of giving 4 stars as would prefer more choices for starters on the menu. Otherwise everything was perfect. Lovely interior and service. Romantic atmosphere. Limited food choices but understandable for a museum restaurant. The pasta was cooked perfectly and al dente. However, the pasta and risotto was very heavy to eat on its own. My sister couldn't finish her risotto as it was too heavy. Would have been nice with some side vegetables. Visited this place in November whilst on a mini break with my partner. We couldn’t fault a single thing. The waiters are friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the chefs had an excellent eye for detail when it came to presentation. The menu is small yet we still struggled to find something to eat as we wanted to try everything on there! This is a must visit when in Malta. I will most definitely be returning on my next trip. We organized our department Christmas dinner and from the moment we contacted them till the actual dinner, everything was perfect. Elena helped me out with the booking and she was extremely helpful and patient! The day of the dinner, they gave us the private Donato Room which was all set up nicely. We were greeted by Jamal and himself and the rest of the staff were cordial and really attentive. The food... honestly one of the best meals I had in a very long time. The risotto as a starter was to die for and beautifully presented. The main course I had was ribeye and again, plate presentation was top notch. We ended the evening with a delicious chocolatey dessert. Overall, I feel that this is one of the best restaurants and will definitely visit again. MUZA was a restaurant with quite a nice atmosphere and good food, but unfortunately the service was quite slow. There are quite a few of seating options, with nice decor. For starters we had the cheese and peas risotto. Quite tasty. For mains we had the beef tagliata with roasted vegetables and the chicken supreme. Both dishes were quite tasty and the meat was tender. Both came with some chunky fries. We received some bread and an interesting spread before we got our starters. Then, unfortunately we had to wait close to 1h to receive our mains. Great food and an awesome atmosphere sitting in the inner courtyard of the old Italian auberge. Staff was really polite and attentive throughout the whole evening. One tiny comment was that main course took around an hour to come, which definitely gave some more quality time but could be highlighted in the beginning just to have in mind. Overall, definitely would recommend if you’re looking for sophisticated taste and great service. Located in the Muza Museum this restaurant offers great homemade pasta. The conchiglioni pasta with beef had a lovely rich sauce. The butternut squash cappella I were nicely season. The waiters were kind and alert even with a big group dining outside. The place can be noisy so if you want some calm prefer a table inside by the bar. Gorgeous restaurant. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Incredibly reasonably priced for how good the food was. Beautiful setting to have food and was quiet when we visited which was lovely.
