This was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! First off the staff is very friendly, Emma who was our waitress was amazing and so kind. One of the owners affectionately called Mama is so sweet, she comes around and checks on all the customers to make sure you have a great dining experience. Plus she sings the Birthday song wholeheartedly to those celebrating their birthdays. I enjoyed everything!! Every since thing about this restaurant exceeds all expectations. The food was incredible, the service was perfect, and it feels so cozy. The owner herself was there and was so absolutely sweet! Came over to check on us, chatted with us, and has a BEAUTIFUL singing voice when she sang happy birthday to one of the guests. Please run to this restaurant because it really was worth it. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor while you’re there and get the honey toast. Oh . My. God. So good. Great experience! The food was amazing. It was very cold in the restaurant, though. I had to wear a light jacket. Dress for cooler temps but expect to be WOWed with the food! Making a reservation wouldn't be a bad idea if you plan to go on a weekend, or a busy time during the week. There were tables available on a Tues night when we went today. The house made Sangria was delicious and made with saki! The food takes time, so be patient for the perfection. We will go again! Well worth the visit! I came here for dinner this evening on 12/26/23. Everything was very delicious and balanced to taste and flavor. This restaurant is a must try and I highly recommend to bring a friend for the food taste experience. I ordered the hot green tea to start prior to the food. For appetizers I ordered the chicken thighs in honey glaze, the Tsukuni- Chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce, Hamachi- beef spring rolls with orange chili sauce and for the entree Yaki Udon- beef with vegetables and noodles. For a cocktail I ordered the Sake Sangria. The customer service is always superior. My fiancé and I came here to enjoy our 2 year anniversary. We had to make a reservation on Yelp as that is the only way to get a table - which is no problem. This restaurant was not only very inviting, but delicious. We had such a great experience. The staff were very informative on all the menu options, so we definitively felt less overwhelmed. For the appetizer, we had the Crispy Pork. While I did not like it as much, my fiancé loved it. He said he would rate it a 10/10. For drinks, he ordered a Red Horse beer and he loved it. I had the Saki Sangria as was recommended to me, and it was absolutely delicious. They have different flavors each day of the week (cannot remember which flavor I had) but the variety was great. For meals, I had the Ribeye Steak and Shrimp with sun-dried tomato garlic butter rice. It was delicious. The sauce on the steak and shrimp was very flavorful. The rice was to die for. My fiancé ordered the Soft Shell Crab and that was even more delicious. For desert, the owner Jun came by and served us imported Red Bean ice cream from Japan and sang to us for our anniversary. The ice cream was the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. I have been searching for it ever since that night! It was such a memorable moment and we appreciated her always checking in on us. She was running around everywhere, but you can really see that she truly cares about every customer. Overall, I would recommend Myles and Jun Yakitori to anyone wanting a very good, authentic Japanese experience! I wish I had known about this place sooner! And I would've dined here each time I came south!!! (Alas, my Son and DIL are moving north ) The food was superb! Each dish made fresh to order. The service was professional and friendly. Just as if you were family. My mother in law took us to eat here tonight and I highly recommend. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food was to die for delicious. The owner even came out to speak a few times and was very pleasant. They do recommend reservations but the wait time wasn't too terribly long without one.
