As a Ventura Co. resident, I can admit that we may have more vegan and vegetarian offerings than your average American suburban area, but it usually boils down to Thai, imitation hamburgers, bland salads, pizza, and falafel. Not that there's anything wrong with those options, but it makes really appreciate when a place like Mythpoint has vegan and vegetarian offerings that aren't just the normal fare. Gyro pita sandwiches and cheesesteak? And they're actually GREAT? Are you kidding me? Meat texture is similar to that used for Baja Fresh's limited substitutions, but the seasoning makes it comparable to real meat dishes on the menu, and it all just works -- perfectly. An OASIS for vegan and vegetarian diners looking for fast food-y Greek dishes.

Man am I glad I tried Mythpoint! By far the best Greek food I've ever had. Staff was very warm and friendly. I got the beef/lamb gyro plate and everything was perfect. There's a lot more on the menu I want to try, will be back for sure next time I'm in town.
