I really wanted to like this restaurant but the food was very bad. The chips were stale and tasted bad and the sauces lack flavor and salt. I ordered the fajita for one and the beef was so old and hard to cut, i couldn't eat it. The rice is bland and the soft drinks taste like water. Prices are ridiculously high for what you get. Just a hole in the wall restaurant. The carpet looks 20 years old. The food was fair at best. Nothing stands out when you’re in a city with so many Mexican food choices. Such a great gem! We came on a whim to try a new restaurant and left feeling like family. Everyone was so welcoming & loving. Felt like home. Food was great! Portion sizes were big! Decent restaurant for a mom and pop type restaurant. Food quality was decent however, the beef was not quite as lean as I was told by our waiter that it would be. If I had been informed, I would have elected to have gotten a chicken dish. However, service there was impeccable. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Boy oh boy let me tell you, this is one really good place for Tex-Mex. Lots of options, great lunch specials with excellent service and the quality of food was fantastic. This restaurant is very clean so I will definably be returning.
