Best meal I’ve had in a while! Big portion, good service, English menu and only 28 000 kip for chicken and rice with fried egg. Everyone spoke English Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You need to definitely stop here and get fresh sugar cane juice! For me most delicious papaya salat in Laos (not in menu but they will prepare it for you;)). It can happen, that you will get some mini crabs 🦀 inside (see my picture). If you don’t want it- show them the picture;). It is very local, so they will not understand English. Food very well balanced and nicely served. Very authentic. Nice stuff. 100% recommendation for this tiny hidden place.

This is one of this places where you stop your bike by it and you are not sure if it is the right choice, but what a positive surprise we got here. This is a true gem. I can confidently say that as a foodie travelling Laos the quality of food at this road side place was for sure one of the Top 3 in Laos for me so far. Firstly the papaya salad it was so balanced between spicy, sour and umami from the padaek it was just stunning. The Morning glory and the pork with basil were also stunning. And have everything with a freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. Look for the storefront on the pic since it was not so easy to find this place...

Great place to stop when doing the thakhek loop. Really lovely freshly cooked food and such good value! It has a little shop out the front too for basic bits!
