Yes i’ma manager/cook at a local restaurant This morning around 10:30am on Feb. 17 I came to get a peach daiquiri (which is good by the way) and upon entrance i wasnt greeted by the cashier.. I had to greet him. He wasn’t smiling or interacting, didn’t even ask for ID. When he gave me my change back, he basically rushed it in my hand cause the money to fall on the counter top, he didn’t say Sorry or anything. Very rude and not a welcoming spirit. He handed me my daiquiri and didn’t say thank you, or anything. It was pure silence. Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I took my parents to Hattiesburg on a day trip and found this gem in historic downtown. This small joint has a BIG impact! The concept is simple: cold daiquiris and hot, delicious fried chicken. The 5 piece was shareable since Nellie’s offers large portions. Plus this family-owned spot has a very friendly husband-wife duo at the helm who made my family feel very welcome. Definitely recommend trying the Captain America daiquiri!

unbeatable ! I always get the4 piece chickenstrip meal. Its a ton of food for under $10.00. The strips are battered and seasoned in house which makes them the best in town.The Nellies comeback sauce is unique too. Staff is always professional and friendly and They are pretty dang accurate at telling You when Your meal will be ready,which makes carry-out very convenient. This is My favorite place out of all Mr. Nelsons resaurants.

Friendly service. Loooooved every bit of my food. Their sauces and lemonade are made in house. The lemonade is more like a tropical punch (contains a lot of pineapple juice) which I liked. The Nellie sauce is similar to Cane's sauce while the Downtown sauce reminds me of a sweet and spicy Asian sauce. Food was fresh and made to order. Try it!

I had the Chicken Sandwich (bun from Breadsmith) and fries. There were quite a few sauces to choose from. The daiquiris were really good, and extra shots were only $1 on Fridays. I really enjoyed Nellie's. Felt like a daiquiri shop out of New Orleans.

Wayyyyy wayyyy better than canes or Zaxbys. Everything is seasoned. I mean perfectly as if their ancestors guided them how to do it and said “ stop my child “ when it was enough. My new spot. Daiquiri was LEGIT!!!!!!! I got red beans as well with my order, tastes like my meemaw was in the kitchen with them when they were cooking. If y’all hadn’t tried it, PLEASE DO!! Homemade chicken tenders here are even better than all those national chains PLUS they have daiquiris! Grabbing one and walking around downtown to see all the murals and Pocket Museum is a wonderful date night. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I have eaten there 3 times this week ! I keep going back because the customer service is wonderful. The Atmosphere is chill and I enjoy the Soup Apple Drink! Can't go wrong with it ! I will keep going back as long as the customer service is exceptional like It has been.
