A very Unique Diner, brought back a lot of childhood memories. There used to be 2 diners in Columbia Pa that resemble this diner. Bob's Diner (The Greasy Spoon) & Columbia Diner. I miss both of these places. Overall a very friendly place to go, great food & reasonable prices. I was visiting Lancaster for the day for the Suburban Home Show and stopped in here for breakfast. I was by myself but the staff made me feel very welcomed. Aidan was exceptional at his job and really made my day by just having small talk with me. Like I said, I was by myself just sitting at the counter and he took the time to ask me how my day was going and if it was my first time here. The food was great and the staff was even better. Food was great I mean I only got fruit bowl but man it was so good I asked for extra pineapples and boy did they deliver. I was so happy that the fruit was perfectly ripe usually it's either not ripe enough or way to ripe when I get the fruit at other restaurants so I recommend the fruit cup if u like fruit. Great experience and breakfast. I had the Chorizo Hash Omelet with the Raisin Toast. Good size portion, but not quite so much that you have to take any home (which was good as I was on a road trip). Just had breakfast! Got there and they promptly opened on time at 6am. Truly enjoyed the turkey eggs benedict, grits, and scrapple (huge slice, cooked perfectly). My daughter enjoyed the Belgian waffle with blueberries. Attentive and friendly service too! Very clean!! A must visit gem in the city! An amazing little diner!! You know it is good when you have a line of people out the door. The belgian waffles with blueberries were sooo good!!! The service was awesome, I don't think the waitress let out coffee get below a half cup. Everything was made fresh and served hot!! If you are in Lancaster, stop in - you will not regret it! Cozy old school diner, with excellent service and darn good food! Their Country Fried Steak topped with sausage gravy, along with their breakfast sausage links are outstanding!
