New China Restaurant has good bourbon among its drinks. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be fair. My new choice for best Chinese food in Petal! I ordered food to go and it was phenomenal, I didn't eat on the buffet so can't comment on that. I ordered just over $50 of food to go and got a free General Tao's chicken which was really nice. Food was cooked in under 15 minutes and still smoking hot by the time I got home 20 minutes later. My only complaint would be that my Szechuan chicken was supposed to be spicy but it had very little spice in my opinion.

Only because I’m being over charged for what receipt show. I paid $26.75 for order w/ debit card, then I thought about it. I forgot wontons so I order and used $20 bill to pay for wontons. So why am I being charged $32.10. I went through drive through didn’t sit down so no I didn’t leave a tip. So where did the extra $5.35 come from uploading photo as well Service Take out Price per person $10–20 Food: 2

Our favorite place was closed and we craved Chinese food, so I took my family to New China for dinner thinking the buffet would make it easy for the little ones to try different items. We arrived right at peak dinner time when you’d expect the food to be fresh and well stocked. Much of the food on the buffet appeared like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. The kitchen did bring out fresh food after we sat down but nothing had any taste at all. The soda machine was out of syrup and we were served carbonated water so changed the drink orders to tea and water. We are not picky yet left without eating a full meal. And the total was $43. This place is bad at best and a health risk at worst. We won’t be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I tried almost everything on the buffet, the honey chicken was very good. Meh on everything else. Bourbon chicken tasted like hotdogs, which I can't explain. Only get a little bit of something until you know you like it.
