I have never eaten here before, even though we’ve been in the area since it open, which is quite some time ago. I must say the food was very good. They made it just to our liking when it comes to level of spiciness. We got a complementary mango lassi. The nice thing about it too is that it wasn’t very oily. When we arrived, the waitress didn't say much, but we were immediately seated. The menu is fairly simple, and when you order they ask if you like the meal mild, medium, or spicy. My husband got medium and I got spicy, but there really wasn't any difference between the two. Even so, the food tasted lovely and the Super Bowl was on quietly in the background. It was tidy and the food came pretty quickly. Overall, worth the visit. Only complaint is that the cost of a dish was between 13-17 dollars, but they charge an extra five dollars for a plate of rice. The portions are pretty small, so it seemed like it should have come with instead. I’ve been coming to New Delhi Restaurant for about 6 years now, and I can wholeheartedly say their quality has never changed throughout the years! This restaurant is a family owned business which is what gives eating here that “home cooked” experience! Some of my favorite dishes made by him are Biryani which is to die for every single time.
