Okay so let me say this, the food is absolutely 💯 Delicious and Fresh. The level of spicy 🌶️ is my language. Eh if you fear pepper ooo pls I beg nah di run for your life lol. My friend took me here and I am in love 🥰 Now the service was pretty unprofessional and loud. I mean like as we are ordering there is arguments happening with other people which isn’t the best. Ordered 2 jollof combos (1 chicken and 1 goat). The chicken tasted good, I enjoyed it. My friend on the other hand did not enjoy his goat, there wasn't much meat on the bones, it was mostly rice in the plate and the rice tasted burnt for both meals. The price is very high for what you get. Food: 3 Service: 3

The food was pretty good. However, not sure if they are worth the price ($23 for jollof rice that only feeds 2 people?!) AND the restaurant REALLY NEEDS music, my friend and I felt really awkward in there with the dead silence especially since we were the only customers. Also, the customer service can be better, you can say these things were our fault that we didn’t ask but the lady brought our food out in a plastic bag assuming we were doing to-go, most places ASK if you’re doing dine-in or to-go after taking your order. The lady didn’t even ask if we wanted any drinks after taking our order, we had to ask for water when we realized she didn’t and this was soon after we got our food. Overall, the food was good but not sure if I’d come back due to this mixed experience. I’ve tried this place a few times because I wanted to be sure of how I felt about it. The service is great and so are the people. The atmosphere is very casual and you can tell people like being there. That being said, the food has not been great. I tried the stew, rice combos, and the goat. The meat in the stew was mainly bone and the spinach was overcooked. The rice is smoky, which is fine because that’s how it generally is, but the goat with it is just bone and barely any meat. The goat was so tough it was inedible. This was also the case with the chicken, beef, and fish when I tried them. Also, if you cannot handle spicy food you cannot eat here. Their spice is no joke, and normally I wouldn’t mind, but I eat Serrano and Thai chilis and found the food to be too spicy to eat - which means I paid $50 on food I couldn’t eat. First time visiting. We enjoyed the food. We ordered the cow meat pepper soup, chicken pepper soup, plaintain and chicken stew & the Ayamase. All delicious. The only complaint we have is that they should be more available to help customers more as soon as they walk in as well as help customers with questions they have with the menu. Not only was the young lady who helped me extremely sweet, their food is amazing! Very flavorful, and a good amount of spice. First time enjoying Nigerian food, so that could skew my experience, but this was a very good experience! I got the Asaro with beef, and while im not a particular fan of Asaro, the beef was wonderful. i tried my friends' Jollof rice, and that was amazing! There was also a mix-up with the orders, and the lady working was nothing but helpful and friendly the entire time while we worked it out. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try something new!! Fair warning, though, it can be decently spicy!
