Worth taking a train or a taxi to have dinner here! The place is outside Lisbon, but on the way, you can enjoy the view! And what a view... ocean, waves, sun, vegetation. This place is small, so it's better to book in advance. We took the local clams (Ameijoas) with wine, garlic, and coriander and the Brie croquette. But you can order different dishes and share. Not satisfied with their food. My dish of Bacalhau à Zé Manuel was soaked in oil with no taste, and the vegetables wasn’t washed properly and it got sand mixed inside, the soak oil vegetables mix with sand, made me feel sick, shouldn’t try to finish it to avoid wasting food. (But the potato was the only thing that is good of that plate) The other dishes that my friends got are just okay, wasn’t really impressive. Really nice, quaint, good food, rapid service and full of locals. Very much in the local trend of petiscos (portuguese tapas) . Lots of small sharing plates on the menu as well as a few traditional main courses. Well priced, tasty and enjoyable.
