Wow. The best meal we had in Porto and up there as one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Beautiful setting, the most warm friendly hosts. The food was absolutely stunning. I agree with an earlier review, I would give 6 stars if I could. The wine was delicious, and so reasonably priced, I would search for it again. Small menu because everything is locally sourced and purchased often. They opened during the pandemic, and have finished every little detail. Would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Porto.

A small restaurant full of charm and attentive, friendly staff, this restaurant was one of the most delicious meals we had in Porto. We started with a cheese enrobed in pastry, drizzled with honey, herbs, and nuts. The owner suggested salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes, tempura vegetables served with a delicate sauce with a hint of sweetness. My husband had cod on a bed of greens served with roasted potatoes. Super cute spot - I chose this on setting alone, tucked down a side alley - and the service and food are both good, if not memorable. The menu is SUPER limited, but they were good and made some mods based on my preferences. There cod was actually the best cod flavor-wise in Portugal thus far, but overall I'll remember the setting more than the food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–45

Delicious food, friendly service, beautiful spot and it was 1 minute from where we stayed. The chèvre in puff pastry and sausage croquettes for starters were absolutely delicious, purple ribs were incredible as was the bacalhau, the wine was a perfect pairing, and the French toast dessert was perfect . Great find recommended to us, down an alley not too far from the river but just far enough to be away to feel secluded. Food was great, try the octopus. Small menu which changes over time which is great so you know what's prepared is being done right. Hope to be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Friendly, welcoming service, in a lovely setting. Purple ribs with red cabbage puree, and Sea bass were both delicious. A little tricky to find when walking, but worth finding! Might want to Bolt or Uber, even if a short distance. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We would never bypass the dining experience of the O Solar Do Patio restaurant when we visit next. The ambiance of the quaint historic setting, the “Jon & Vania” service and magnificently presented food created by Jon’s attention detail will bring us back here every time we visit. This restaurant is a charming gem tucked away from the touristy front. It had the finest and most unique cuisine. Our favorites were the codfish and the rump medallions (the chimi-churri was to die for). Nothing was over the top and it was apparent that everything was of high quality and made with loads of care. AND the peach cobbler desert!! A special take on a classic, one of the best desserts I've had in my life. Everyone working there was so nice and helpful, a terrific overall experience!!

If we could put 6 stars, we would. Fresh products and real quality here. It was really tasty in a calm, beautiful and soothing atmosphere.
