Great tartare served with warm toast bread. Innovative way of serving butter. You get a free starter made up.of two bread sticks with jam/peanut butter sauce. Incredibly polite staff. The whole place was such an amazing dinner experience. The staff is friendly, kind and very quick on their feet. The food is great, not only the taste, but also a representation of the food is quite nice. The atmosphere is very cosy and warm, we really loved it. We had two appetizers, bottle of wine and two main courses (one black angus with truffles mash and other duck with orange and sweet potato mash). The restaurant itself it’s beautiful. The staff and the food were great. We had the beef tartar as starter, then the ribeye steak and fuzi with beef. For dessert we had the amazing lava cake. What a lovely, cozy place! Excellent service from start to finish. The pumpkin soup was flavorful with a hearty consistency. My seafood risotto was creamy & rich. Go for this meal. It was the best we had in Bled. Everything was super. The truffle pasta was super excellent with freshly grated truffles. The dessert apple pie and vanilla ice cream were super. The atmosphere is great. With a medivial feel. Service was v good. The marinated vegetable started was v good. The food presentation was v good. Reserve in advance, though lots of seating there. Top notch service, top notch place , loved everything about it. A bit expensive but worth it. The food is unmatched and really well made. They do a great job with everything. Great selection of local wines too. If in bled have to go here and do reserve before going as they are open only for dinner. The ambience is rustic. We really liked the vibe. The service was superb; friendly, quick, and happy to explain all of the dishes. The food presentation was appealing. Sadly, the food was only “okay,” nothing really special. The flavors were a bit bland and the steak was too salty and a bit tough. The meat in the pasta was dry and there were only a few mushrooms. The Gibanica dessert had very little flavor. Given the price of the meal, we don’t feel we received value for our euros. Great atmosphere and service, during the warmer days I recommend especially the table in the garden. Great that they cook with local ingredients. Definitely recommend making a reservation! Dishes are denser and portions are quite large so careful with ordering. If you're not sure how hungry you are, order in stages. The mushroom soup was interesting as was looking like the cappuccino ☕️😉 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
