Ole' West Bean & Burger Restaurant,Fast food in Mabank

Ole' West Bean & Burger in Mabank is a great place to get home-style country cooking. The salad bar is fresh and neat with lots of goodies, and they also offer two types of beans - ranch style and pinto. The homemade soup was a bit too greasy for my taste, but the carrots and potatoes in the stew were delicious. The complimentary tea and ice cream are a nice bonus. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the floors and tables were clean. The burgers are great and the Chicken Fried Steak and Hamburger Steak are East Texas favorites. Prices are very reasonable and you definitely won't leave hungry. Highly recommend!
