Everything I had was so delicious tried the soup had chicken and dumplings in it was super good spinach artichoke dip with those delicious crisps... bread sticks were off the chart good for the dipping sauces too recommend them Alfredo! And my entree I got was the tortellini with fried chicken Alfredo it was so stinking delicious every bite was just so good.. service was great very attentive waiter and I spent 95 bucks and was worth it One thing I would like to see olive garden do is fix their parking areas behind the building the road is just garbage. Enjoyed OG in Hattiesburg. Place was quite crowded when we visited. I had my usual Chicken Alfredo. My husband had the gluten free rotini with marinara sauce and Italian sausage. The food was awesome and the service was great even though they had a crowd (it took longer then normal because the kitchen was backed up, but they did inform us of it). My granddaughter treated me to lunch for my 84th Birthday 2/6/24, so we decided on Olive Garden, Hattiesburg, MS location since we both love Olive Garden. The service was good; but the soup was thin, watery, scarce noodles; the salad was more white coarse part of lettuce. We didn't want to make a scene so we ate what we could, paid the bill with proper tip and left. I was so disappointed. I have always enjoyed Olive Garden before this. The atmosphere and employees are great! I used to absolutely love Olive Garden. Now the only time I go is when I crave their salad. I dont normally eat at Olive Garden but a companion and I decided to stop in for a change of pace. Well we didn't know that Southern Miss was having graduation that day so the place was swamped. We were told the wait time would be 25 or 30 minutes but we were seated in 15. The waitress was running around like crazy because no one had expected the rush. It's really up to management to know what going on in the community and inform the staff ahead of time so it wasn't her fault. She stopped by to say she's sorry for the wait and she would be right back. She messed up my drink order and the appetizer took forever. Once again they were swamped and I liked the person I was with so not a huge deal. I got the seafood pasta and she got the soup and breadsticks. It took a real long time for pasta to come out and it was kinda cold. It was decent, I enjoyed the flavor but it had started to thicken a lot. We had planned on dessert but it was about two hours now I think so we paid up and left. The server was really nice just stretched thin so I left a tip. I saw managers walking around but not helping to expedite the food. Cmon guys, grab drinks, clear tables, do what you can to help staff. This was probably a one time thing. Met my nephew today for lunch because it’s his favorite place. Well it was a huge fail. My soup was cold, I sent it back , and the waitress brought it back with no change. Are you serious. Who wants cold soup! Then my nephew got his favorite, chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Huge disappointment! The sauce was broken, and everyone knows how bad that is! But he didn’t want to say anything, so he picked at it. I tried the meatballs, which they were good, but they still weren’t hot. So, Olive Garden, you need to make sure that the microwaved garbage you serve out of your kitchen, is of proper serving temperature, and not ruined. The only reason I gave 3 stars, is because the server Wednesday was very nice and accommodating, and it’s not her fault that your food is garbage now. It really just tastes like a frozen dinner now. I love Olive Garden. My wonderful in laws live in Mississippi and I in Louisiana. My hubby and I decided we would all meet halfway at this Olive Garden to share a meal. We all ordered Chicken Alfredo. My poor father in laws noodles were old and hardening. Our wonderful waiter was nice enough to get him a fresh plate of noodles but the damage had been done. I was just a little disappointed as the rest of our food was great. My father in law wasn’t able to enjoy his meal and still insisted on paying the bill. The first bowl of Alfredo wasn’t comped either but we weren’t charged for the remake. Our server was a wonderful young man named Aaron with a great sense of humor. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
