Amazing place for dinning with family, friends or with spouse. Service was great. Food was really yummy. They have good varieties of Margarita. Try pineapple margarita which is good. With drink and food, be ready to spend 30 to 35$ per person. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is my first time ever going to a Tex-Mex restaurant. The staff were friendly and were helpful to each other, I noticed a few different people arriving at our table while we were there. The waitress asked if I wanted to sign up for the rewards and if I did I would get a free Queso valued at $9.49. They did end up taking the queso off of my receipt but to be honest with you I was quite surprised that it cost that much and I've never actually had queso made way that they make theirs. To be honest with you I didn't really like it so It was nice to be able to try it for free. I decided to try the Gran Papi combo, it came with five different items, convenient so I could have a little bit of a variety since it was my first time there. Out of all of them the taco was my favorite. It was definitely a unique type of experience and even though I did sign up for the rewards I probably won't go back just because I'm used to more authentic Mexican food but I'm glad that you regulars enjoy your dining experience, thank you! This Tex-Mex restaurant has some good things going for it, especially their margaritas which are surprisingly strong (tip: get a frozen marg w/sangria swirl, blue lagoon, or mangonada!) The food is hit-or-miss; while the Border Sampler (quesadillas, flautas, steak nachos) and Chicken Tortilla Soup are great, the fish tacos are just okay and tres leches was no bueno (super dry). The atmosphere is vibrant and colorful, service is fine overall. Their house chips & salsa are the bomb, and so is their signature house queso! I was given a gift card for this restaurant on my Birthday in May this year. I ordered the Chicken Buritto Classic Suiza. Which looked delicious. Well it was a little to much salt. Other than that it tasted ok. The waiter forgot to ask if I wanted refills on my drink. I still gave him the balance off the gift card for his tip which was 36% of the bill. Atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and colorful, very TexMex. Food was hit or miss, beans were good, enchilada was OK, empanada was bland with very little filling and the rice was terrible. Rice had a medium rare quality to it, crunchy center gummy exterior, flavor was overpowered by the texture and corn kernals. I honestly wanted to spit it out. I think our server was new, it took 30 min to have our order taken, and when I had questions, she needed to get her manager. I could see that she was extremely busy and was trying her best, so it looks like maybe staffing was an issue. Overall experience was right in the middle, I didn't hate it and I didn't love it. I had 3 fish tacos that came with bean's and rice. They were delicious 😋 The price was $14.49. My beverage choice was a Grande Blue Moon for $6.39. We had excellent service provided by Jose. Visited on a Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. Ordered cheese enchiladas for the kids. Wife and I got the Texas Grilled Burrito and chimichanga entrees. All items were really good. Numerous other big groups were dining in the restaurant while we were there so it was pretty loud. I did notice the light fixtures which were liquor bottles cut from the bottom with light bulbs inserted in them hanging from a long cable on the ceiling - I thought these lights were pretty cool. Recommend this place for dinner for anyone looking for mexican cuisine in a family friendly environment. The burrito was definitely stuffed with tender steak. The sangria was extremely refreshing. I was impressed with delivery of the ultimate fajita. The waitress was kind and the food came out so fast. Server was great. I forgot his name tho 😞 I was too busy lusting 🤤 over the burrito 🌯 with brisket, jalapenos and french fries🍟..a very gringo-esque dish I ordered, but by golly it was worth every glutenous bite. My body went immediately out of ketosis with the first chomp. Well worth it folks 👌👌👌Server was the big dude with the beard..I think he was Hispanic (but didn't roll his R's) 🫢..thanks for your service 👏 Everything was delectable. The rice lacked flavor but nothing a few shakes of salt and a douse of salsa can't fix. Us Mexicans like to mix everything together anyways so, no harm no foul lol. This is my official review of on the border. I got the special which is a sample of different things. I usually do not get beef tacos. I prefer steak tacos. This meal only gives beef tacos. It had a good flavor. Enchilada was chicken it has a good taste. Rice had flavor but corn was mixed in. Did not like the quesadilla wasn’t cheesy enough lack flavor. Flanta was good. Empanadas.
