Food was great! True experience of Sabahan food tasting. However, service was quite late. The staff should have informed about the changes of the food options before the food arrived. Some portion not enough but not replaced with other food. Luckily, the food taste was superb, scrumptious. Highlight of the evening, we got to meet the owner, Adam Shamil and his mother. So yeah, it was indeed a lovely evening with friends.

The food overall are good. They really represent the native cuisine. Its a worth dining. Only lacking is the efficiency of preparing food. I had to wait more than 45minute. Im not sure if theyre short staffed at the moment but my advice is dont go when youre super hungry and want your food prepared as fast as possible. Still I give a full support for this restaurant. 👏

First time eating here celebrating my friend birthday. Booking through online and I don't know "did I speak with Adam?". The food was good, place not crowded but the lighting outside is not too good plus saya rasa jauh mau pegi sini lagi-lagi kalau malam or is it just me sebab first time kan pegi. Good service by staff, boleh minta request lagu birthday kalau mau.

Chicken Chop Combo
This place actually is cozy, owner actually put in a lot of time into interior painting and decorating, so its a nice place to talk and hang with a couple of friend or family.
This place also offer all u can eat buffet with price of rm28 adult, rm14 under 12yrs old and free for under 5yrs old which the serve only at Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6pm to 10pm.
And they also give out coupon, with each visit that you spent rm30 or above you get single sign and date on the coupon, accumulating after the 4th and the 7th time of visit you get a free drink! Yay! Sadly no alcohol is served here, so at last when the 10th time u visit that meal will be free, i guess it will be just for 1 person's share, obviously they cant be covering for how large the group u are going to bring, duhhh...
Their pricing for food and drink is on the fair side, not too expensive but not cheap either because with rm27 for chicken chop serve with fries and salad, a lot of places actually can get 2 plate of those maybe with smaller portion but you get what i want to say here.
So i tried the chicken chop today, unfortunately its not what i expected, favouring on deep fried chicken chop is disappointing, oily in the crisp just make it hard to finish the platter giving feeling of full actually is disgusted by oily feeling. Here i don't mean it doesn't taste good nor bad, its just not for me, even if i had the chance to came back for a second time chicken chop will not be 1 of the order I'm making.
The end story here, staff is friendly and patient, after all the question i throw at him still serve with a smile, and the only downside for this single visit is the food, but not to worry because there is a lot more on that menu that i haven't tried yet so a come back is a must.
Ps: I sure hope next dish i try on the next visit won't disappoint me, it would be such a waste for a nice place like this to serve only bad food, am i right?
The staff was friendly and nice. They are very helpful. However we book for the buffet style dinner but the food choices was lacking and there is no dessert. Not recommended if you want to go there in large group. The place is quite small. However its a nice place to bring your family.
Amid lots of restaurant, I like this restaurant food. Local dish is very nice, and un-greasy even fried fish.
Moreover, chocolate cake is also very nice, too, the sweet is just fit, not too much or less.
Ah, coconut shake is also quite good.
Recommend to visit and eat in here.

If you are in group, I highly recommend outskirt... it's a bit far from town, but I guess that's what make it so special.. not hard to locate.. their food are affordable and their "talam" which contain salad, fried fish filler and chicken fillet with fries really worth it.. quite oily, perhaps they can drain the oil first before put on talam... it's a small store with unique interior design... I personally love their paintings... Place to run when u are stress out i guess because its really quiet and calm unless crowded.. lol... Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet their owner Adam Shamil.. but it's okay... may be next time...last but not least, take time to read their menu, their descriptions are so funny in sabahan way...
We were really excited to try out the "BIG PLATTER", came here before we heading bck home ... as advert, the opening hours will be at 10 am ... so we came like few minutes after 10, guess what? The staff was just starting to organize the place 😧 so we just simply sit despite the chaos thats going on. Few minutes later the waitress approach, so we order for the BIG PLATTER, suprisingly she said, it will only be available at noon time, the CHEF went out to the market to buy the supplies (shouldnt they be doing tht at dawn time?😩) Only drinks are available 😕. So we said, we will come bck again at noon. While waiting for lunch time, we just wander around. Before 1 pm we came bck & place the same order. When the BIG PLATTER arrived, it was really disappointing. Not as shown in the picture, the portion was less, prawn tempura was not there 😬. I was totally disappointed. As shown here, the first picture was the one we saw on facebook, the second picture was the one that was served to us 😏 it cost us RM 45, not really worth it ... Second visit? Maybe, but will try out the dishes ...
