As far as I know, this burger shop has been operating more than 15 years. Those olden days, their shop was small but now they make it bigger with more variety of burger choices. Overall a good place to hang around even at 11.30 pm.
The burgers here taste wonderful. Best in kulim. However based on previous visits, they hardly open on time as the 'chef' is always running late. And it's such a long wait when there are more customers.
I've known their burgers & been going to their stall since the 1996 to 2000 before I moved to Penang, I was a 9 years old in the 1996, regularly ordered a 'burger sayur' (off menu, veggies only burger) with my mom which priced at from 30 to 80 cents (can't remember exactly, but confirmed below RM1), we were so damn poor & cannot afford even a 'benjo' (egg burger) during those days, they were very friendly & generous towards us, there is one person in their team that I always recognized who used to drive a silver Proton Satria GTi in those days, he treated us very kindly every time we came to their stall, my mom & I will always forever be grateful to his kindness.. My mom & I were totally broke financially in those years, got no place to call home, sleeping at the 'jam besar' & 'masjid', living off welfare (JKM) which is at RM50-70/month to survive, got really depressed, but their burger literally saved me & my mom from starvation.. Their trademark mayonnaise in a generous portions are superb since those early days, & I frequently got a chance to watched them mixing the mayonnaise with a different ingredients to make it tasted even better..
May their businesses be more successful & prosper to an even better future.. Their kindness & generosity towards me when I was a small 9 years old hopeless broken kid is what makes me always came back for their burgers, those precious bittersweet memories (I'm 32 currently in 2019, so fast the time fly by, & still reside in Penang).. GOD bless them.. :)
Before those shop buildings are built in the 1990's, the area used to be a very old buses station lot before it was moved to the Kulim big wet market area near the lake/tasik lombong.. & it used to have a 'Yawata' supermarket near there too..
