Catfish for breakfast was an interesting experience.
The catfish was fried nicely, but didn't have much flavor. The eggs and potatoes didn't have much flavor or salt. Fortunately they had hot sauce. The coffee was hot and fresh. The waitress was friendly, and the diner vibes were nice.

They are so sweet, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the food is an EXCELLENT price, nowhere can you find great quality and large portions for $10 including your drink, 2 rolls and all the sides. I will definitely go back soon. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the food could be seasoned a bit more, but it could also be because older people cannot handle too much sodium? I highly recommend! I got the Chicken cordon blue and it is yummy with a pinch of salt!
Update...I ordered pork chops (they give you 2), mashed potatoes with gravy and vegetables. It was 11.99 with an iced tea and 2 rolls. I would not recommend the potatoes, they are fake potatoes and are really dry and flavorless. The rolls are also really dry. The pork chop was tasty, but low quality meat with lots of gristle.

This place is a little old country cooking jem. Their breakfast was good and super reasonable. Not really a breakfast person have to crave it as on this day 😉 but when I do this is a place I would definitely visit again...

This place was absolutely TERRIBLE! The chicken fried steak was bad, the biscuits had no flavor and were crumbling apart. Waffles sucked and don't let me get started on the filthy restrooms! Toilet seat wasn't even bolted down and trash was full of toilet paper! Filthy place and alot of laziness going on. Worst breakfast I ever had.

Great lil hidden gem. Definitely a locals hangout, at least for breakfast. I ordered my food to go. The ham and cheese omelet was just like i like mine w/ the smaller pieces of ham but plenty of them. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. The hostess was friendly and greeted me with a smile and offered me a seat to sit down while I waited.

I would give this diner more then 5 stars. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal! Vicky was our waitress and gave great recommendations on what to try. Shout out to the ladies that are cooking the meals. Breakfast was so good that we drove across town again to eat breakfast there before we headed back to Michigan. If your ever in the Houston area this is a spot that you must try and will not be disappointed!
Walked into the place and was already disappointed, but it only got worse. The inattentive wait staff telling me almost all the food is warmed up from frozen was the highlight of my meal. I ordered a chicken fried steak, which seems reasonable at a place like this, but received a (bad) burger patty with an inch air gap between the sides and the batter. It's truly incredible how far off this was from what I imagined. To cap it all off, I was charged for the wrong food and not offered a refund when I pointed it out.
