Great tasting food, the Lomo saltado plate is delicious & worth every penny, enough for ✌️ The tacos were good and fresh. The only drawback is the foul language coming from either the cooks or cashier. We understand Spanish and they were dropping bad language LOUD & CLEAR.... not suitable for an open kitchen!!!! Ordered the lomo saltado and it was SO good! It was made fresh and it came out pipping hot. Super flavorful and I loved the green sauce. The tacos were also tasty but I wasn't a huge fan of the tortilla they used. Parking lot right next to the restaurant was very convenient. Dang instagram got me. A little disappointed with this place. I ordered a burrito I saw on IG, I was expecting this giant Chili Relleno burrito and I got a Pollo Loco BRC sized disappointment. The flavors were there but where is this IG burrito I ordered and paid for?! Honestly all hype! We had the surf and turf burrito and it was so salty and there was no surf. We also ordered the Mexican breakfast burrito and asked for light egg, half of the burrito was eggs and so I asked them to remake it, they reluctantly remade it but it wasn't any better. I doubt the food is being tasted by the folks preparing it as well as the salsas which were totally underwhelming. The reviews of this restaurant don’t lie! Pablito’s has been featured on so many articles locally and nationally that it’s outrageous. My friend’s Courtney and Ashleigh suggested this spot for a review because it was easily one of their personal favorites that they order from regularly, and I couldn’t believe how amazing the food was! I can’t say that I have eaten many Peruvian inspired meals, but I would go back to Pablito's any day of the week! Unfortunately, I was only in town long enough to go once, so I went for their most popular dish “Steak “Lomo” Saltado”. This is a popular Peruvian dish that is similar to steak stir-fry served over french fries with a side of rice. The flavors from the steak, onions, and tomatoes were mouth watering, but in my opinion the best part is how all the brilliant flavors drip down onto the fries! Everything about it was cooked perfectly and blended together as a perfected dish. We also shared garlic parmesan wings, fried plantains, and the dulce de leche churro, all of which were incredible and I would easily order again! I could not believe they had stuffed churros, but I guess arriving earlier in the day is better because they ran out of the strawberry by the time we were ordering at 4PM and I bought the last dulce churro. Luckily for me though, dulce de leche is one of my favorite desserts! I would go back just for the churros, but I would definitely try more of their entrees because they all look so good! The hardest part would be not going with the saltado again! My friends have tried a few of the entrees but they always go back now for the Surf and Turf burrito as their favorite. I highly recommend Pablito’s as a place you have to try, especially if you're only in town for a short time! And if my review here was the encouragement you needed to try it, please tell them that The Nomadic Guide recommended you stop by! I would greatly appreciate it. THURSDAY PROMO! I vaguely heard they have other promotions too but feel free to check. This is a great tacos (and etc) spot in Burbank for real. Note well: it gets really busy at lunch time! The food here was not only fabulous, but service was also friendly and we got our food fast. Absolutely huge burritos with handmade tortillas and the "green crack sauce" is to die for. We ordered the "Cali burrito" with asada, the "Cali burrito veggie" (with cactus and shiitake mushrooms!!), the "surf & turf burrito", a "traditional burrito" with asada, & the "Mexican scrambler" breakfast burrito, and everyone in my group loved their food. I got a grilled chicken quesadilla, with a mango-pineapple lemonade and a churro. Marisa is OUTSTANDING! I love that type of energy when I'm going to eat. Amazing vibes AND delicious food.
