Well it looks nice from the outside and the virws from the rear is also very good although the backdrop of the mountains and the Emission testing centre os a challenge.
The parking is accessed down the side of the building and leads to a relatively small parking area with no set parking in place.
There are toilets outside that are for the seating area outside, which is very nicely presented.
There is seating available inside up the stairs overlooking the outside area. They have their own set of toilets which were clean and well prrsented but the surfaces jad not been wioed down correctly with smears on the walls.
The menu is quite large and varied and more or less offers something for everyone. The cost of the food is medium priced.
The quality of the food is quite good and can be changed to meet your preferred taste. The food was not all served together so possibly better for smaller parties.
However the attention of the staff is not good they soent nore time talking to each other rather than looking after the customer. There seemed to beca lot of staff in uniform on a weekday and yet getting tgeir attention was not easy.
Would i recommen? - possibly if you ate in the area
Would i return? - doubtful.

We ordered their Boodle Fight Overload (good for 10pax) and their Bulalo. And at first impression it aesthetically looks good (as shown on the photos). However it's dissapointing that the serving size is not fitting to what we paid for and all of our food is already cold when they served it, even the Bulalo and rice. According to the menu, the Boodle Fight includes a dessert however we did not receive any. We paid 8k+ including the 700+ service charge for 7 adults and 3 children, which is very pricey. For me, it is not worth it considering there are other really good resto in Tagaytay and other Filipino resto that can serve better food (quality and quantity-wise) with that price range.
With regards to the ambiance and atmosphere of the place, it's nice and windy (the normal Tagaytay vibes). It's good for picture-taking with the kubos and all, but that's all that there is. We dined in their kubo, however, it only fits max of 8 pax as also mentioned by them (and looks like they only have the same size for all of their kubo). So it's somehow cramped/crowded for us, but we wanted to try it. I suggest for big groups to just dine in in their resto dining area. Kudos to their servers as they are approachable and they are organized when it comes to their queuing system, they also have a waiting area.
But overall, if you're looking for really good food with the same concept (kubo), there are other better choices in Tagaytay. But if you just want to go to Pamahaw for picture-taking and the ambiance, it's good to try.

We ate at this restaurant on a Sunday, so expectedly the waiting time is long. They have a parking space at the back of the restaurant with a mountain view and near the huts of the restaurant. They have a dining area and huts. The food was normal Filipino style dishes.
When you're enjoying your food in a hut, you can see dogs, cats, even chickens roaming around. Eating scraps that fell from the table.

I don't get the hype, but there's nothing special here, just the design of the place. Their food is expensive, looks good but doesn't taste that good. Better eat at known restaurants with the same food price. The staff aren't friendly, and the main restaurant lacks ventilation. The place and their huts are nice though.
Lesson learned: Check Google reviews for legit feedback, instead of following the hype in IG or FB reels.

We had a short stop at this place for some coffee and desserts. We ordered their famous ube suman with leche plan paired with hot chocolate. The suman is something unique and best paired with the hot choco. The place is very relaxing. Big parking space at the back of the restaurant. Nice set up, open air, and plenty of space to explore. Friendly staff and quick service.

I recently dined at Pamahaw Restaurant and overall, I was pleased with my experience. The taste of the food was excellent, and the serving sizes were satisfying. The atmosphere was pleasant, creating a comfortable dining environment.
However, I did have one concern during my visit. There was an unpleasant smell coming from their neighbor, which resembled dog poop. This odor occasionally affected the dining experience and should be addressed by the restaurant management.
Additionally, I recommend that Pamahaw Restaurant pays more attention to the cleanliness of their restrooms. Ensuring the restrooms are well-maintained and stocked with air fresheners would greatly enhance the overall dining experience for customers.

The meals were fairly priced. The plates were almost overflowing with food and the Ultimate Breakfast serving per person is already good for 2. One thing that I noticeable was the lack of crunchiness on the dangguit and dried pusit. I'm not sure if it was because of the cold weather. Hopefully, it gets improved. Still, food was great! We loved the accessible location and parking, nipa huts and the coziness of the place. Worth a visit, or several. 😊
