Went in for the churros. They have several options even from a to go case. Chocolate filled, vanilla, and plain rolled in cinnamon and sugar. Smaller than what we are used to in the states, and very good when fresh, just not amazing. Solid 4 stars, worth a stop if you are in the area, but not worth a separate trip.

Just off the main square, near Selina. A limited choice of white bread and sandwiches but do not get your hopes up - tastes nothing like a delicious loaf of a genuine crusty German Brot. On the upside, there's coffee, cakes and scoop ice cream (again, far from European gelato but fruity, refreshing and only 1.50$ for three scoops. No cones)

Just like any other basic bakery here in Panamá. We expected German style bread but went home disappointed and with a mediocre white bread. One of the breads in foil was covered with mold.

Came here after struggling to find dessert options to compete with the bakeries in Boquete. We grabbed an amazing sweet fry bread and cheesecake. There aren’t a ton of options here, but everything was pretty good!

Update: they are open from 7am to 2 pm, not the hours shown on Google maps. I had a decent cappuccino but they had no wifi and don't accept credit cards plus the seats not very comfortable. The breads looked ok but don't buy the stuff from the $1.00 basket, I spotted mold on some of it.

Sorry but this place is just sad. We went there in the middle of the day and it had virtually nothing. There is nothing German about this “bakery”… We ordered a coffee and sat outside. It was the same story every time: people came in, only to walk right back out again with sad, disappointed faces. Maybe it once had a German owner but those days seem long gone now.

The best bread on the island! It’s reasonably priced, the chocolate almond cake is so dense and delicious, and the other baked goods and gelato are tasty as well! We keep going back for more!

Very unsympathetic personal, open till 7pm we were there at 6.40pm and want to buy bread and the woman just say; no closed ... Not interested to make money seems like...
