I went to cash my check and the owner of the place said ladies first. A bunch of Brown Mexican ladies behind me. Even though my friend Carlos was in front of me. Meanwhile I asked her in Spanish for real? Realized I spoke Spanish ( I'm Mexican) she gave me some nonsense and said don't kick the dog cage in Spanish. Then gave me my money in an ugly manner. I've never been in such an awful act of discrimination. For being a Mexican that was born in the States. Like I have control of where I was born.

This a lovely little convenience store with a wide assortment of Hispanic goods. They also have a generous selection of fresh baked pastries that are extremely delicious.

This is an excellent, local place to go if you're looking for authentic Mexican pastries. If you've never had any before try it out. It's not excessively sweet like American pastries. They are always fresh and they go quick! Bring your friends. They should put some seating outside for people to enjoy their pastries when the weather is nice.

Very friendly staff! Brenda was very helpful and knowledgeable! Baldo the other staff member as well was helpful when asking questions about the bread and pastries. Will definitely be back for delicious pastries!
