Friendly service and a good place to chat with locals or travellers or just for people watching. The empanadas with queese were delicious! The banana bread and biscuits looked scrumptious. They had cappuccino (probably the only place in the area where you can get espresso, coffee or cappuccino at all). So be thankful to all the caffeine junkies - you've been saved. 😅

For first time since long we had a great Cappucino and Cafe Americano incl banana cake and cinnamon role + a jugo de piña in this place. Very tasty (Rico Rico;0) all and at affordable prices. Definitely recommended.

The best bakery in the area. Everything is fresh the bread, desserts, coffee juice Omg, my mouth is watering now just writing this review. The service is amazing and they prepare everything with love. I will definitely recommend this place. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

Rico Rico is a very good place to eat, even for vegetarians. I highly recommend the baguette with eggs and salad, it was very delicious. It was the only place I could find in this area, where you’re able to get good coffee and vegetarian food. I visited this place 3 times during my time in portobello. Owner was very friendly

Love it. One of my favorites places. People are very kind. Sandwiches are excellent. Coffee ans bread are very good. The milkshakes are amazing.
Good energy. You can sat there and chill.
I came several times during my stay in Portobelo.
Go there, it's a must!

Their coffee and sandwiches are really tasty, I can also recommend the baked desserts. Believe the other reviews that praise the French bread. Nice staff who put up with my piecemeal Spanish during my daily visits

Delightful place with great, fresh bread. Our trip to portobello lasted a lot longer than we expected, partly because of this lovely place. The bread was delish, and we had coffee here one day, and another day drank some beers on the upstairs seating area. Definitely worth checking out.

Loved this little restaurant. Fantastic coffee, good food, absolutely lovely lady owner. I will most certainly visit again. Portobelo has been a pleasant surprise. Throughly enjoyed the day and will stay over next time. Locals are friendly, relaxed and helpful. Highly recommend taking a boat trip.
