I stopped by on a Thursday
morning for some pastries
for breakfast and selected
a croissant, scone, and
apricot danish.
The bakery has a nice selection
of bread, pastries, sandwiches
and pizzas.
The croissant was dense and
thick, the Danish was not
really sweet and a little dense,
and the scone had good taste.
Located in the Nye Beach
district of Newport on SW
Coast Street near 2nd street.
The pastries were a little
disappointing, but I did
not try the other products
in the bakery.
The bakery is a local favorite
and I would suggest a visit
to try the bread and pizza.
This place is legit. The laminated doughs are so flaky and buttery. The cinnamon rolls…don’t look at them and wonder where the icing is…they are buttery and cinnamon-y and caramelly and just so dang good. Icing would bring these down and hide the yummy goodness. The staff was courteous, kind and the coffee super. Clearly a lot of love goes into all the things here. Can’t recommend highly enough. Oh…and there’s bread 😍

These guys make ALL the sourdough bread bowls for MO's!!! If you haven't stopped in to try a slice of their sourdough New York style pizza.... you are missing out on one of the greatest bakeries in Oregon! This historic place is charming, delicious and filled with years of baking talent! Great coffee....wonderful morning pastries and INCREDIBLE sourdough rolls! Top 10 places to visit on the Oregon Coast!
We stop in here every time we visit the area. There sourdough bread is amazing, doesn’t matter which one you choose they are all delicious. Scones are not to sweet but very large and delicious. A rustic homey feel we will be back.
I had a cappuccino each of the last three mornings while I was staying in Newport & they were excellent. I also bought a loaf of cheddar & jalapeno bread that weighed like an old loaf of bread used to not the modern day lightweight breads. On top of that is the old rustic feel to the place, it's real. I'll be back to Panini's as soon as I am in Newport again.
Wow! The best bakery I have been to in years!!
Amazing food and coffee!
Thanks for keeping the bakery tradition alive

Super rustic yum food bakery and pizzas. The soup was absolutely wonderful and they were super nice to give us some yum cinnamon rolls on the house as well!
Place to go when in Newport. Located in the Nye Beach shopping area, this bakery has the best croissants anywhere bar none. Hard to describe the extra deep, rich texture, but you won't be disappointed. Get there early if you want to snag a chocolate chip flavor. Coffee is amazing as well.
Panini's is just as good as our previous visit years ago. Today my husband and I had the eggplant sandwich and the portabella mushroom sandwich, each on focaccia bread. The sandwiches were so big we ate half, saving the rest for lunch tomorrow and allowing us to eat part of a double chocolate cupcake. Amazing food, can't go wrong with any on the breads.
I love this bakery. I’m not really a local but I do work in Newport and walking to this bakery in the morning or for lunch is one of my favorite things. I brought a loaf of their 3 cheese bread to a dinner party and it was a real hit, so delicious we finished the whole loaf right there! :) I really enjoy their apricot danish and their espresso is really good. For lunch they have an awesome pizza special and have the best pizza around in my opinion, plus you get an Italian soda (have them add a little cream to it). Highly recommend!
