When we got into Colorado today we were absolutely starving! Thank goodness for the pantry restaurant! Nothing too fancy, but overall pretty good! The jumbo burger is huge! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

You may get a nice waitress, you may not. Hateful lady at the register, seriously comes off prejudice. Large portions but of meals that are less then mediocre. I can see how people like the atmosphere but if that's the greatest thing you're getting at a restaurant, it's not worth going. It doesn't make up for where they lack. My server was not the greatest didn’t even get her name. The place is getting 3 stars because Lindy came to the rescue. I wanted to give one star for the rude owner Shawna. My friends to go box was to small and mine was the right size but I wanted a bigger one so my toast wouldn’t get soggy. Shawn was rude when I asked for a bigger box and walked away. Lindy heard the conversation came over and offered me foil for my toast which was perfect. I’ve been there before and Shawna is always rude. I see the bad reviews for the autistic kid incident but in the restaurants defense the people who were in Are awful. I had to deal with them 12 years ago at AppleBees. They would leave no tip or throw Pennie’s on the table. We even nicknamed the lady Bun B and would pitch $5 for the server who had to take them. I’m not condoning if a special needs child was treated unfair but the adults in this family are awful and do not appreciate servers. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Came in an ordered the chicken tacos. On flour. They were so bland. Distasteful. No flavor. Even w the side of guacamole. Nasty. The flour tortillas were supposed to be fried. They were so lightly fried They had 0 texture. The chicken was boiled an I hate it. All the flavor was gone. I will never go back to this place. I don't care if they paid me. I'd never eat here again. Waste of 43$ I'd go anywhere but here to eat. My gf got a breakfast sampler. Disgusting. Everything was burnt. There's nothing about this place that's good. I don't see how this place has been open this long. The service was ok but the host seemed rude an didn't like her job too much. An I wouldn't either if I worked there. Five stars for their biscuits with white cream gravy, fresh coffee, and pulpy orange juice! WARNING: the full order of the biscuits is way too much for one sitting, but you can get a half-order, or - better yet! - take home the leftovers, which are just as delicious re-heated for your next morning’s breakfast. If, like me, you don’t like sausage gravy, this place will be an extra-special treat (just specify “white cream gravy” in your order) ! Price per person $1–10

This place has everything you need for every kind of craving you can get. From a hearty breakfast (try the huevos rancheros or enchiladas tejanas for some Mexican flair), to Mexican food with great green chili that deserves a higher position among Pueblo Mexican food staples, to big mouth burgers and down home comfort food with, literally, melt-your-mouth country fried steak, the pantry has you covered. Usually places with a huge menu should be a red flag. But the pantry is consistently quality food at an honest price. And I’m not just saying this because it’s one of the few restaurants that can please every generation. This is good, honest, food.
