I placed an order for delivery and was told I have been blacklisted from deliveries. When I asked the Mgr Jared, why? he stated the only reason people get blacklisted is they don't tip enough or are slow to answer the door. I advised him the driver had asked me for an $8.00 tip on a $12.00 pizza. Jared advised drivers expect at least a $5 tip on a $12.00 order. I live 1 mile from the restaurant.
When I stated I would file a complaint Jared stated they have been in business for 90 years they don't really care if I file a complaint. He was very rude and pompous. He then stated they were busy and I needed to move along closing the window on me without resolution. The food there is good the customer service is terrible. If i have to pick up my food, there are other places in town that make really good food too!

Girl answering the phone sounded like she had an attitude. Pretty sure she was the same person helping me when I picked up my order. Walked in, and said hi, she just looked at me and kept walking. Came back to ask what I needed, still acted like she had an attitude. I said thank you when she handed me my food, no response. Bad customer service. My 6 year old could provide better customer service than her. Food was good as always. Tasted fresh. 5 stars for food. 0 stars for customer service and atmosphere. Did not feel welcomed at all. Been here about 4 times now. First time was okay service, gets worse each time. If you’re going to be rude when helping a customer, maybe someone else needs to handle the phone or cashiering dept., and you just prep the food and not deal up front with customers.

Cinnamon Breadsticks
My wife and I had the pleasure of trying Papa Jimmy's Pizzeria tonight.
We both really enjoyed the thin crust pepperoni pizza. If you like pizza with a good crunchy crust like we do, then you will throughly enjoy this. Cheese great, pepperoni excellent, and when you add in some tasty sauce it's amazing.
The breadsticks were really soft and pillowy. These were my wife's favorite and she especially enjoyed the dusting of parmesan cheese on top.
I ordered the mozzerella sticks for myself (no I did not share lol). These are my favorite mozzerella sticks. There are a few places that carry similar tasting versions of these, and I thoroughly enjoy them every time. Yum!
And we can't forget to mention the ice cream. The Chocolate Shoppe has THE BEST ice cream ever and shout out to Papa Jimmy's for serving it.

Best pizza in CG. But that is not saying much. The staff is awesome and local ownership keeps us coming back. Their taco pizza is unique. Their crust is above average.

Edit: After posting the below review we did receive a call from the owner apologizing for the treatment we received and hand delivered a refund check to us, which was greatly appreciated. We aren’t the type of people to make a big deal of things in general, but felt we needed to say something in this situation. We did very much appreciate the owner reaching out to us to try and make things right. Besides this incident, we have enjoyed this restaurant since moving to the area.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Me and my husband were insulted by the manager of this place and I have never been treated in such a way my entire life by a place of business. We just tried to order delivery from here. We’ve ordered several times from here and have enjoyed the food.The delivery driver left our food at the wrong apartment building. We got a text and a picture saying the food was delivered but it was not at our apartment. We were told he tried to call us a few times to hand deliver the food, however, our phone never rang. There must have been something wrong with the cell service or something. My husband went to try and find where it was delivered and appears someone took the food off the porch it was delivered to. We called the restaurant to see if we could get a replacement and pick it up ourselves or get a refund. WE WERE ACCUSED OF TRYING TO GET EXTRA FOOD! AND WE WERE REFUSED A REFUND! After going back and forth with the manager he finally agreed to make a replacement meal, but at this point I was so insulted with his accusations I was afraid someone would spit in my food at this point and just ended the conversation. Me and my husband are hard working people. We are always polite to people in the service industry as we both have worked in it previously and understand how people can be. I am a registered nurse and know how difficult people can be sometimes. I was very polite with the manager when initiating the conversation and was just trying to resolve the problem and he immediately cut me off multiple times and was incredibly rude to me as I was trying to explain the situation and what happened. We have supported this restaurant and recommended it to people in the past because we have enjoyed it. We even used them to feed our guests at our baby shower this past June. We will never eat here again and we will tell whoever we can about the awful customer service we received from this place. My level of anger and how insulted I feel personally by the manager of this restaurant is incredible. I highly recommend the owners of this establishment find different management and train their employees on better customer service if they want to keep loyal customers.

Bellybuster Pizza
Usually like papa Jimmy's, tonight's call ahead order not so much. Waited 10 mins for someone at the drive up despite honking. Then asked to drive around to park and wait on bread sticks for another 10 mins and counting. Not a great experience today. Update- finally called them and waited another 5 mins. Just over 30 mins. Got home and surprised to see our 2 pints of ice cream was barely 1.5 pints. Very disappointed, taking off one more star.... update, good service and food on our first revisit, 7 mo later, adding back a star.
