Visitors can order perfectly cooked brownies at this pizzeria. Clients don't like pepperoni pizza at Papa John's Pizza. Food delivery is a big plus of this place. Most guests state that the staff is creative. Many reviewers find that the service is fine. Prices at this spot are worth attention since they're affordable. From the guests' viewpoint, the atmosphere is nice. But google users rated this pizzeria and it didn't earn a high rating.
I placed an order at 11:28pm for a large pizza. The gentlemen on the phone asked me to pay over the phone and I asked if I could pay when I arrived, he said yes. I quickly received a phone call back from someone else asking for payment because their lobby was closed, so I paid; no problem. I was then told to call when I arrive so they could bring the pizza out. Unbeknownst to me, they use a call center to take their orders so when I called to let them know I was in the parking lot, the gentlemen said “okay” and I hung up. About 15 minutes later, a young man in white and black Nike shorts, a Papa John’s shirt and a hat comes out and asks if I placed an order. I told him my name and he says “you didn’t call, we told you to call”. I quickly replied and told him that I did call and I spoke to a gentleman with a Middle Eastern accent. He says “do I sound like I have a Middle Eastern accent?” and explains the call center and how I needed to ask them to connect me to the store; like I said unbeknownst to me. I tried to explain to him that I was unaware and he quickly cut me off and walked away to go get the pizza. He comes back out, continues to tell me how they use a call center and that I need to ask to be connected to the store, again, I had no clue. He hands me the pizza, says have a good night and walks back into the store.
Couple of areas for improvement, first, communicate to the customer, because they might not know you use a call center to take orders. Second, his demeanor and tone were very matter of fact as if I was supposed to know I needed to ask to be connected to the store. I didn’t care for the interaction, the young man was rude and unprofessional.
Now, onto the pizza that I was excited to try, considering I rarely go to Papa John’s. The pictures will explain everything. My opinion, it was late, they wanted to go home, and could care less about the $15.00 I spent or the gas I expended to come and pick up the pizza. They just threw the pizza together and said “screw it”. This is your job, if you don’t like it, find a new one because when you prepare food this way, it guarantees that customers will never come back. Needless to say, this went in the trash! The cheese wasn’t melted all the way, the toppings were just thrown on, it was improperly cut, and there was a pound of cheese, which overloaded the undercooked dough.
No matter how late it is, if you’re open, prepare the food as if you just opened for the day, the time of day should NOT dictate the quality of the food.

Just a heads up, they don't accept cash orders after 9:00 p.m.. the employee mentioned something about counterfeit money. Apparently after 9:00 p.m. is the only time counterfeit money exists. For customer service and wasting my time, I gave them one star 6 years ago and nothing's changed. 👎

Will not except coupon because night manager on New Year’s Eve says they have new management. Manager would not give me his name! Coupon states it is acceptable at this location! I want to be contacted from location. This is for the Surprise Az Litchfield location!
Wish I could give them zero stars. I called before I placed an order and asked if I would be able to make modifications because the app wouldn’t let me, they said yes. Then I realized it was a different location so I called this one immediately after I placed an order on Uber and asked them to make the modifications ( only one with sausage for my friend and one just cheese as I’m allergic to sausage) the guy who answered put me on hold for 10 minutes and when he came back said it was to late they already made the pizza. I asked if there was anything they could do and he said no. Because of food cost he wasn’t remaking it and I couldn’t speak to a manager. Avoid this location at all cost they have so many terrible reviews. Clearly the management needs to get new employees because these ones suck.

Horrible service. I ordered a pizza and breadsticks for delivery and after waiting over an hour I called the store. The manager told me he was waiting for a driver and couldn't give me a time when my pizza would be delivered and excused the whole thing by saying my pizza had only been done cooking for 30 minutes.

Well, we bought into the hype of a loaded pepperoni pizza, the Shaqaroni with extra cheese on one half. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. It was not fully cooked and determining the half with extra cheese was impossible to tell as there was no obvious difference.
This was our first order to have a pizza delivered from this chain and this location, we won’t be fooled twice and I’ll order from a local competitor who has proven to deliver a superior product compared to the disappointment we faced last night after a long day of travel.
The only thing that was positive was delivery was fast and the driver was friendly, she was the only one deserving a tip.

Manager is very rude and annoying. Called in to make a change to my order 1 minute after placing order and he said no we can’t do that whatever whatever. Frank is an absolute disgrace manager. Food is good but manager is a cry baby talking about it’s only me working here whatever whatever. Not my problem how many employees you have. Do better. Gets mad when people do bad reviews but it’s like you’re not smart what do you expect kid. Only sausages are named frank.

I am so sad that Lakes Pleasant’s town center has a bad Papa John’s. I don’t love pizza, but my husband does. To have this location with a pizza brand I do like was a swing and MISS! Both times I’ve been for pick up the gentleman behind the counter is not personable in greeting customers. The first pizza was okay. The second one had bell peppers on it that were spoiled and made me sick.
In our already not so good food options on the west side, I am sad that at least a franchise can not be consistent. And that it’s inconvenient as this was easy on busy grocery day to swing in and get a pizza.
