UPDATE I when back because I was craving the same salad and the meat was HORRIBLE. Full of fat. I couldn’t eat it. First time I went the meat was soft, no fat at all . Amazing OLD REVIEW Delicious!!!! The price is equal to the amount of food they serve. Everything was huge and the place is cute. My salad was perfect. Just to let you know Martin is awesome. The wife of the owner was polite and helped me to write this review. The food is the most fresh I have ever had. The absolute best salsa and chips ever. The salsa is the perfect spice and coldness paired with the freshest chips with he right amount of salt. The birria tacos were so full of flavor. The rice and beans were perfect. Delicious does not do this meal and experience justice. $3.50 for a 12oz can of coke was ridiculous however the food and service justify the total cost of $29.31. I’ve been coming to Paquitos for over 20 years and they still have the best Mexican food experience around. Delicious fajitas, tacos & enchiladas. The service in impeccable. They even have a live mariachi band on Thursday nights. La pachanga (their bar) is a lively place on the weekends for dancing & live karaoke. We went there because of the good reviews. However, food was absolutely disappointing. This cant be called Mexican Food. Sad chips from a bag, beans from a can, everything was sad. Service attention even worst. We returned our plates almost intact and nobody even asked what was the problem. Horrible food, do not come to this place. Save your money. As Mexican as it gets . Good margaritas good Mexican food. Banging salsa, hot waitresses. Been coming here for years and its crazy consistent. Its tucked away on Biscayne a bit hard to find, but a real dive with very chill atmosphere. When we want to escape reality we come here.
