Excellent local restaurant away from touristic places with simple menu and fantastic service. An absolute must in the area. All dishes are cooked to perfection and nicely presented. Generous reasonably priced portions. Their hearty fish soup is delicious so is any grilled fish. Everything has a good balance of local flavours. Amazing. Amazing find in this beach town! The owner is also the chef and server. Her potato chips are made at the restaurant and so tasty! As with her clam dish, vegetables and fish soup!! All superb!! What good fortune to have stopped for lunch at this authentic restaurant. We thought it was just a coffee shop but turns out to be one of the best meals we ever had! Ask for the plate of the day. We had the fish and rice in a casserole (unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the fish but it was amazing). My son had the grilled sea bass (photo). Large portions and full of flavour. Best grill squid, octopus and sardines!! Bog portions, good price. Friendly and helpful stuff. Highly recommended this restaurant. Dropped in here for wifi while I was working. Decided to get an omelette, it was tasty. The salad was good and the chips were a nice touch. Surprisingly tasty and fresh. You wouldn’t think that you can eat that good in such a bar/cafe by just looking at it from the outside. They have many different meat and fish options. They just offer what they have fresh from the day (in terms of fish). It takes a bit until getting the food, but the waiting time is definitely worth it. They know how to cook fish to make it tastefully spiced and keep it soft and juicy. Portions are also very generous. Strongly recommend the octopus and the sardines. Price - quality is also fair. The best sardines I ate in Portugal. The dishes are really great the have some simple seafood dishes but it is so delicious and has a really high quality. Also the place is really simple nothing special. You can sit inside or outside. But for the quality and the price you get it is totally recommendable. Loved it there.
