Prices on Google have not been updated, and everything is a couple dollars more than what I have seen online. Classic eggs benedict was good! Coffee drinks all looked tasty as well. Lots of seating for meeting with friends. Plentiful bakery options. Parking area was small but had approximately 6-8 spots. Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

An ok cafe and garden arts centre near the top of Victoria Ave. We had breakfast this morning before checking out of a nearby hotel. The coffee was strong and served quickly. Our meals were ok but nothing special. I had a three-egg omelette with three fillings (ham, cheese, tomato). Substantial but the filling ingredients weren’t overly tasty. My partner enjoyed his Belgian waffles with banana, bacon, maple syrup and cream. A nice garden-style atmosphere and reasonable service.

I travel a lot for work. Scrambled eggs is my go to brekkie and i could count on one hand how many do that well.... but i came here and could not go past old fashioned mince on toast with a poached egg. It arrived and i couldnt wait yep i was hungry.... and it was awesome.. not heavily salted so you could add more if u wanted. Was absolutely yum. The staff are lovely and patient while i tried to decide what to have.... so many good choices. Lovely food, great cooffe and friendly ladies made the whole experience one to remember when im in wanganui next. As we have a group of members with our Therapy dogs coming for a gathering or hosting an event. Parnell Cafe shows their support and provide one of the best services to make our day really smooth and fun. Thank you for their team which is so easy to communicate with. Classic eggs bene with bacon, a very good breakfast! Great coffee to wash it down and very friendly service. Travelling through close to the state highway. I definitely will return when I'm in town next!

Nice staff and menu options. Place isn't super high dining if you are looking for a place like this. Is a more family orientated place but very nice. Theres a few sparrows flying around but coffee is excellent.

Hidden from plain sight, the Parnell Cafe from Whanganui was a serendipitous surprise (other cafes closed to mourn for the Queen’s death). Decor slightly dated, but otherwise an enjoyable brunch spot.

What an awesome Salmon Eggs Benedict. One of the best ever. The chef who made this needs a huge compliment. Definitely my place of choice for future visits to Whanganui. Open nice and early so easy to get in and out before the meetings start for the day. Friendly staff. Great food. What more could you want.
