Dynamite. Tried the pasteis on our tour of Portugal. Will be back for other snacks and a coffee. Classy old school vibes. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person €1–5 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The best pastel de nata we had in Portugal! The cookie is bigger then usually, perfectly crisp and filled with cream to the brim! Also very good coffee, very friendly staff and surprisingly low prices.

Good food, friendly staff. We go here every year, for the past 20ish years, and it's still great. The staff actually remembered us from last year. They serve full hot meals and fresh squeezed orange juice (you get to watch them use a machine to squeeze the juice for you on the spot, so it's extra fresh), though many people go in for the fresh made bread and pastries. Just tell them you are there for lunch/dinner and ask them what they have and what their specials are. Locals eat meals there all the time. Our favorite cookies are the ones that are half dipped in chocolate. We usually take 2-3 boxes of them on the 8 hour flight back to the States. They are that good. Tons of fresh baked good and bread. Get them while they last. There are usually bigger crowds in the morning and lunch time, and then it tapers off until dinner time. But that also means that lots of baked goods and pastries are sold out by the afternoon. The good news is you can place an order the day or so before and you can guarantee you get fresh pastries that way :) The shop is usually open everyday, but will close starting at 1pm on August 17, 2016 for a few days while they renovate some things.
Forgot the wallet there, came back after 5 minutes to pick it up. They took all the money and said there was nothing there before. Very unprofessional. Very rude. Thiefs
Not possible to use a laptop. The most ridiculous rule I've seen in Portugal Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
Fast service, good pastries, not a lot of breads, but a lot of sweets, very cheap prices
Coffee was awful and the pastries were bland. Service was quick and the. Afe itself was pretty. The man who served mw seemed to hate doing it.

In 2019 I wrote this and gave it 4 stars: Breakfast there is a good treat, nice food, well spotted for families, kids can play and run at our sight. Today in 2022 I came here again for my breakfast holidays and got to know the staff/owners and I am very happy with Capri Tradition, sympathy and quality that I came to know when I was a kid when lived here, now I am tourist and bringing my kids to have a taste of my childhood
