We had a delightfully memorable dinner at the Peacock Room on our road trip, just passing through Prescott! Everything was beautiful and the service was stellar. My favorites were the baked puff pastry wrapped Brie board and the caprese salad topped with micro greens and edible flowers! The Absolut Truffle cocktail was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a dessert drink! The Pearly A mule and black ink red blend wine were wonderful as well- I sampled my husband’s and mom’s drinks. ;) The lamb was mouth-wateringly fall-off-the-bone tender and the creamy, cheesy garlic polenta just stunning. Husband’s steak and mashed potatoes and dad’s crab stuffed orange roughy were both amazing but unfortunately mom’s surf and turf dinner was bland. I would most definitely recommend and hope to return next time I visit Prescott!!!
Lovely historic hotel and restaurant. Charming atmosphere. Food was delicious. I had a very good N.Y. Strip cooked perfectly to my request. The garlic butter the serve with their bread is delicious. Nice wine selection. The bread pudding was the best I have had in a long time. Highly recommend having a meal here. I was a bit disappointed in my dinner meal at the Peacock Room. A complimentary rustic bread was served which was good. My French Onion soup was overly filled with chunks of the same bread which ruined the flavor of the soup. My main course was trout which was served skin side up and tasted very fishy. Overall my meal was disappointing. The other diner started with the House Salad which was an iceberg wedge and the Orange Roughy. He enjoyed both. Service was very good.
The food was awesome atmosphere is amazing… Such a great historic place with great food. Definitely need to check this place out on your next trip here. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict

We have been to the Peacock Room several times. Generally, the food has been excellent, the service passable. The servers could always do a better job being friendly. We went there for dinner on Thanksgiving, yesterday. I was expecting a wonderful experience and a great dinner. It was the worst service and worst food. We had a reservation. We were not seated until 15 minutes after our reservation time. Once seated, we were not greeted by anyone. Someone brought us an extra fork. Water was served. But, no one greeted is -- not the person who brought the fork, nor the person who poured the water. I understand that they were busy -- it was Thanksgiving... but no excuse for not being greeted. It was a full 30 minutes after being seated before my husband waived someone down and they agreed to bring the salads. Finally, the server came over almost 40 minutes after being seated to take our order..This was 55 minutes after our reservation time. The food came. The turkey was hot, but all the rest of the side dishes were room temperature. Everything was way oversalted almost to the point of not being edible. The pumpkin pie was not good.. the crust was hard, it was like it was store bought. I will probably go back for other dinners, but I will never go back for a Thanksgiving dinner. Further, once the crowd started to thin out a bit, rather than checking on all the customers to make sure that they had everything, our server spent a significant amount of time chitchatting with some friends... I think they were way over their capacity to provide a good dining experience for their guests. It was a great disappointment. I hope management learned something from last night. It might have been better to have fewer reservations and take better care of the dinner guests. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Sad, I never heard from anyone at the Peacock Room regarding my concern. It will be a while before I go back. My wife and I had prime rib for dinner at the Peacock Room Friday evening. We have been to the Peacock Room on many occasions and always share the prime rib. Our server was Brianna, she was very attentive, but we were disappointed with the quality of the prime rib we were served. We ordered it done medium. The meat was very tough and grisly and hard to cut and chew. The vegetables served with the meal were mainly overcooked zucchini. The best part of the meal was the baked potato. I wanted to bring this to your attention. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I have been here several times but this was the worst experience. Atmosphere is nice and food was above average but service was minimal. I get better, happier service at McDonald's. For a birthday celebration and over $160 bill...is it too much to want pleasant service? A smile? A sincere inquiry? Service was slow but that was ok as it was for a bday and we were in no hurry. But the quick and perfunctory- how is everything...was extremely disappointing. Probably the last time after 25 years of eating here that I will spend money and time here. So many better options in Prescott. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

We love staying at Hassayampa Inn but their restaurant, The Peacock Room, is such a mixed bag. We had reservations for brunch at 10:30 am and everything from the service to seating was rather slow and methodical. Took a while just to be acknowleded at the host station. Then they had to “prepare” our table. I guess they weren't expecting us to show up. Anyway, their prep did not include cleaning the chairs. I had to wipe off what appeared to be some parmesan cheese. Maybe the previous diners had a Caesar salad. I don't know. Some of it was on the floor too. I ordered a glass of champagne and after about 25 minutes wondered where it was. Not sure what happened but I eventually got it. I ordered an Omelet with ham, green chiles and asadero cheese. It was outstanding. I recall from a previous visit that their hash browns are woefully undercooked so I asked for “crispy, well done”. It looked as if the cook just dumped a handful of frozen hash browns into the deep fryer! What I received was literally a pile of fried match stick potatos that I could barely keep on my fork. My son had the Southwest Burrito and he loved it! Looked great smothered with a green chile sauce. The burrito was huge and filled with chorizo and eggs. He remarked how richly flavored and nicely spicy it was. My wife had the Lemon Soufflee Pancakes. Not sure where the “souffle” part comes in but they were rather flat. One of the pancakes was quite undercooked in the center. She had the meal subbed out for a simple order of scrambled eggs and hash browns. She didn't request “crispy” and sure enough they came out quite pale and raw tasting in the center. This restaurant is really beautiful with a magnificent and historic art deco vibe. The service overall is pretty average which is a sad mismatch for this unique establishment. No one seemed to have any sense of urgency or personality. Your mileage may vary with the food. It definitely depends on what you order here. I can tell you they do eggs well and potatos poorly. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

The Hasayampa is a wonderful historic hotel and this is their signature restaurant within the hotel. The atmosphere is really nice, however the food is sub par. The breakfasts are good but the dinner menu is just ok. The menu is limited and some of the items on the menu haven’t been available for months (orange ruffy being an example) The last time I went there the food was cold and not very good. It’s been better in the past. I’m hoping they up their game and get back on track since it’s such a great location. The lady at the breakfast lounge checked us in then forgot about and ignored us and seated other people who came after. 0 ⭐️ we to go eat at The County Seat. Better food at a better price! Nice hotel though! Just avoid the lounge and you are solid.
